But yeah pretty much the entire idea of Thanksgiving when it was being pitched to President Lincoln was to try and bridge the gap between a nation that had nearly split in two, via the civil war and promote reconciliation and reflection The idea of the holiday nowadays is completely changed and it doesn't have to carry its old symbolism symbols are allowed to change they are not static and don't need to stay the same And like you I agree we should promote this as a means of reconciliation and acknowledgement

To be fair the show was slowly going downhill after season 2 I mean the show is nearing it's decade anniversary it's bound to get a little out of date as audiences move on That inexplicable sharp power scaling of Rick and the constant nihilism espoused by many of the characters to the point where "everything doesn't matter bro because there's an infinite number of everything" means there's nothing ever really at stake then is there? Not to mention the insane overuse of the fourth wall jokes; the gross out factor of the guts, poop, viscera, blood, and bodily fluids also became very dull The giant incest baby IMO was the worst episode of season 5 as a result of this But yeah when Justin was found NOT GUILTY!!!!! and fired because of a RUMOUR!!!!! 😡 There's just no way the show is going to come back from that

What I found most interesting is that you have black women, the demographic the movie is really trying very hard to hit and form a core audience with, instead they are getting upset over how they've basically thrown Chadwick under the bus of his portrayal of black panther They are wondering what in the world happened to my strong masculine African prince? Instead he's been replaced by indecisive unmasculine African men that just let themselves be stepped on by women over them, and making black panther a woman is seen not as a homage but erasure of the previous owner I mean there was a woman that made the same correlation and shared her thoughts on I think it was tick tock🤔 and how she couldn't believe all the men portrayed in the second Black panther movie were just pushovers She subsequently later got banned from the platform just for expressing her opinion as a black woman that saw the movie

I got to admit ever since critical drinker did his take on Avatar and how it was just creatively underwhelming but visually a masterpiece because of all the special effects, but the plot the writing, the character development, the dialogue we're just all a complete let down and subpar I've never looked at Avatar the same way again because critical drinker was absolutely right and I am not hopeful for this sequel
