Everyone still be careful when you still go to purchase things even if they don't have the "made in China" label because what often happens is the product will get assembled to 90% completion in the China mainland then shipped overseas to another country where it receives its final piece gets the made in "not China" stamp and then sold to the US and elsewhere And that is literally one of the oldest tricks in the book as we have archaeological evidence of ancient Carthaginians relabeling their own lower quality tier wine as "made in Rome" wine

But this object was detected long before it ever reached the US And given it's at least 3x the size of a standard hot air balloon and even hot air balloons will show up on radar there is no doubt in my mind it was detected and tracked but again unannounced to the public Untill the public discovered it on its own

  43.  @aregularperson7573  if you convert a gun to full auto you are breaking a severe federal law, you CANNOT under any circumstances make any firearm, even one you legally purchased, full auto and the US law enforcement agencies considers 3 round burst fire in that definition of "full auto" The only time you CAN have a full auto firearm is if it predates the Federal assault weapons ban that came out in the 1980s Which means there's a VERY small market for legally owning full auto firearms and they go for whopping prices! A 1970s era Uzi SMG can go for upwards of 10,000$

That's true to a point Mother Nature has the largest killcount of extinction events and mankind is a droplet in an ocean compared to that But still we have to be careful at what we protect and what we loose far too often we waste time on species that look cute like Pandas but literally do nothing for the larger collective and we let critical species like various coral reefs suffer cause they don't have a mass marketable appeal when trying to "save" the wildlife

They mentioned it briefly, the US Military and the US government at arge they didn't want the Chinese to know that they were already tracking these balloons There's a lot of intelligence you can gather from an adversary currently trying to gather intelligence on yourself The US government knew of this balloon when it reached the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, the US public unfortunately didn't learn about it until it reaching Montana when it was reported by a commercial aircraft
