@BlitheApathy Good for him but one more thing, you can't record yourself on someone else's property without their permission And you can't record others if you live in a US state that requires two party consent of recording like California Another recommendation is to have that also be plainly spelled out in the contract prior to beginning the work
3
Yeah that was the story of "Lonely Fly"
3
without a doubt you can even see it amongst people that worship legendary musicians like jimi hendrix
3
So glad the bill went through
3
Reminds me of that time where China used assets from the game World of Warcraft to showcase their military forces' readiness
3
@djchappell1726 I guarantee you if China did not have nuclear weapons there will already be an international coalition to invade China and forcibly put them out of power through military means That goes double with Russia
2
Yeah I commented something similar
2
Don't feel ashamed you can suffer with me and Israeli who is doing the literal same thing siding with a authoritarian regime that is doing the literal G to the uyghurs and yet we sell them and allow them to steal and take all of our military technology and we Pat them on the back for it
2
Everyone still be careful when you still go to purchase things even if they don't have the "made in China" label because what often happens is the product will get assembled to 90% completion in the China mainland then shipped overseas to another country where it receives its final piece gets the made in "not China" stamp and then sold to the US and elsewhere And that is literally one of the oldest tricks in the book as we have archaeological evidence of ancient Carthaginians relabeling their own lower quality tier wine as "made in Rome" wine
2
@camadams9149 and would you still still hold that view even against serpentza?
2
@camadams9149 that's a shame you hold such a view, oh well Have a nice day
2
Well he does know how to speak Afrikaans who are pretty much Dutchmen that migrated to s. Africa so makes sense
2
get off all social media at this point
2
I mean it's not out of the realm of possibility but I put it as an extremely low chance Politicians love symbolism and references towards heros of the nation and it's often why they self mythologize constantly, so any politician who gave the metaphorical thumbs up to the destruction of this memorial and not simply the relocation of it would face serious backlash
2
And free Manchuria!
2
🤢🤮🤮
2
@landofthelivingskies3318 pretty sure Mike pompeo who is a republican went to Taiwan before Pelosi did
2
Soviet planes do not crash Chinese Bridges do not collapse There is no war in Ba Sing Se
2
How is what china did not a declaration of war?
2
Or Charles Taylor Hehehe 🤣
2
The US has already been doing that for decades, and is in fact legally obligated to do it by US law, because of the Taiwanese relations Act
2
@williamswenson5315 not so fast, there's the case of the Church of scientology that took on the IRS....and WON 😳
2
2:56 Wow that kid who was the leaker is brand new! Look at that ribbon rack, he's only got TWO ribbons!! You only get two ribbons when you graduate BMT and head off to your assignment Meaning his career in the service barely even started and he's already suffering a court martial and a dishonorable discharge and then military prison And when he gets out in 20-30 years then he has to face CIVIL law and penalties and go to Civilian prison for possibly another 20-30 years! Man life ruined already
2
Sadly it didn't get shot down until after it completed it's mission of surveillance and reconnaissance of multiple military sites in the US Sites that maintain high quality aircraft and nuclear weapons mind you And they did that all without loosing a single man in the process, I'm not praising to CCP understand they are horrible but I am saying they succeeded and they did it with relatively low-risk using archaic methods which is astounding
2
I don't think so the CCP has built an amazing surveillance state And they have pacified the crap out of almost all of their minority groups not just the religious ones I think it's very unlikely that any sort of jihadist extremist group coming to avenge the treatment of Muslims would ever form in China unless they had state support of a different nation
2
I'm glad that these guys know that they're China experts and only China experts they don't weigh in on American politics unless it correlates to China They lived in China most of their adult lives they know it's culture forward backwards and sideways and they can speak the language
2
Maybe? But this object was detected long before it ever reached the US And given it's at least 3x the size of a standard hot air balloon and even hot air balloons will show up on radar there is no doubt in my mind it was detected and tracked but again unannounced to the public Untill the public discovered it on its own
2
The politburo will decide your fate
2
@tigervalley62 there's lots of things you can justify and I think you're really missing out separate the art from the artist and you will have a good experience in the movie I guarantee it
2
Sadly a whole bunch of sanctions got taken off turkey in an attempt to appease the government of turkey to get them to stop vetoing Finland and Sweden joining NATO and well you can see the results of how that appeasement went
1
Welcome to Sputnik 2.0 with its own complete "Red Scare" Maybe NOW you'll be taking the Chinese threat seriously
1
China has a severe problem when it comes to hygiene practices
1
The Chinese are cowards they will only have physical boots on the ground when they are already sure they will win That's why they do everything short of actual bullets to antagonize
1
Yes and no, the US government and the DoD was already aware of this object long before it reached the US shores However they didn't want to let the CCP know that they could easily track these objects, kind of like how back in WW2 Winston Churchill didn't want to let the Germans know he already cracked the enigma and was reading their messages That's why they wanted to let it go as they were themselves building intelligence countermeasures based upon how the Chinese government does its own intelligence gathering And it was only brought into the public conversation once commercial aircraft discovered and reported it
1
Sadly there is no cooperation the Chinese government literally wants to remove America off the face of the Earth Any cooperation is purely coincidental it's only a side effect of actions that helps themselves and their own self interests
1
The Winston you are 100% on point this lady is very much a coward she was the former president of the nation of Chile and she got kicked out of her position because of her inept and corrupt government policies
1
@h8GW what? 🤨
1
I mean if the Chinese can get away with rewriting the Quran and somehow not provoke the ire of every Muslim on the planet then I'm not surprised they can get away with other history rewrites
1
@TheGuruStud that's where you are wrong multiple times the US has been challenged for its government policies by a large gathering to protest and they were protected MLK was doing exactly that in his signature speech at Washington DC protesting against government
1
In some US states you don't need a two-party consent to begin filming or recording
1
Rare W for Italy
1
I'm just curious so those of us who use Vah Say where would we be?
1
@aregularperson7573 if you convert a gun to full auto you are breaking a severe federal law, you CANNOT under any circumstances make any firearm, even one you legally purchased, full auto and the US law enforcement agencies considers 3 round burst fire in that definition of "full auto" The only time you CAN have a full auto firearm is if it predates the Federal assault weapons ban that came out in the 1980s Which means there's a VERY small market for legally owning full auto firearms and they go for whopping prices! A 1970s era Uzi SMG can go for upwards of 10,000$
1
Sure I can tell you It's a historical as well as etymological reason Back in the ancient world during the times of the Roman empire there were a series of religious practices that were being suppressed by the Romans These were some of the very first Christians suffering under the Romans and they used a neat aspect of the Hebrew language to express their dislike of the Roman emperor You see each character of the Hebrew alphabet also has number associated with that character, it's a practice called Gematria Much like in Chinese the word "death" is also associated with the number "4" and is the reason why 4 is considered unlucky Well it's the same thing with 666, because in Hebrew that number is represented by the characters of נרון קסר And when translated using the Hebrew writing system of kitiv haser they reference the Roman emperor of Nero, An emperor of Rome who accused the first Christians of arson and led the beginning of their persecution
1
That's true to a point Mother Nature has the largest killcount of extinction events and mankind is a droplet in an ocean compared to that But still we have to be careful at what we protect and what we loose far too often we waste time on species that look cute like Pandas but literally do nothing for the larger collective and we let critical species like various coral reefs suffer cause they don't have a mass marketable appeal when trying to "save" the wildlife
1
I tell you I'm just waiting for the moment when the Three gorges dam breaks because when that sucker breaks due to tofu dreg you're looking at about 400 million casualties It will become the new largest loss of life eclipsing WW2
1
@mikeymaster2494 yeah I mentioned already that the need for the languages changes very often and the extra money they give you also varies to reflect that
1
They mentioned it briefly, the US Military and the US government at arge they didn't want the Chinese to know that they were already tracking these balloons There's a lot of intelligence you can gather from an adversary currently trying to gather intelligence on yourself The US government knew of this balloon when it reached the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, the US public unfortunately didn't learn about it until it reaching Montana when it was reported by a commercial aircraft
1
Sad to hear that, frivolous lawsuits just absolutely ruin the judiciary system
1
Yeah the most famous of the Hui is probably Zheng He
