  2.  @billjones7223  BS. NATO hadn't done anything. Russia/Putin think Ukraine is theirs. And Putin wants a puppet. It's objectively clear that Putin started and instigated it. Finland and Sweden wouldn't have a need to join NATO. Neither would Ukraine, if Russia wasn't such a bad neighbor.

  3.  @chadbrad8100  there's already NATO countries close to Russia. And Russia close to NATO countries. No country wanted problems with Russia. This is on Russia. And Russia is lying. You have to realize that Russia wants to expand, or puppet surrounding countries to their detriment. And Russia thinks it has a claim to Ukraine. It wants it's resources. Everything else is an excuse. Russia isn't angry at NATO. Russia knows NATO won't do anything. Russia is angry that something it thinks belongs to it, isn't a puppet state or controlled.

  5.  @SnowS162  they should have just ate the difference and learned that next time you ask for the price or say to give back change. It's really that simple. But there's no good or bad guys in this. It was all a mistake. I think it went too far in calling the store and making someone drive and waste money over a few bucks. The first mistake was theirs for forgetting to even know the price, how much money they had, how much money they gave ect. I can imagine someone saying that the pizza guy shouldn't leave suddenly but that is what they do, it'd be awkward for them to stick around. Maybe he should have gave back change and then waited for a tip. Some do it that way. But if you give money and then you don't wait, or stick out your palm, or say anything. Then you essentially want the delivery person to read your mind. Usually it's obvious when someone wants change back. They stay in position like they're expecting something. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have noticed that. And by what they say, it seems none of them thought about getting change back till after. They should have ate the lost. Learned their lesson. The pizza guy shouldn't have said anything while returning their money though. Though I don't know if there's more to the video and maybe he was responding to something. And they shouldn't have insulted him afterwards.

The politicians? Why are they corrupt, how? I think the biggest dissonance is how you blame them when republicans are similar and worst. At least by what I consider corrupting them. I don't understand how you seem to think that somehow republican politicians are pure. At least some Dems make efforts to not let money influence them by refusing corporate money. And if you think republican voters are somehow pure but democratic voters are somehow, in some vague way, corrupt, then you are fooling yourself.

It's an event of no importance. Columbus wasn't even trying to find new lands. But that connection with Spain and the Americas set something enormous in motion. The important part is that. The Europe mobilization to the Americas.

The Vikings going there once or twice but not making a lasting connection, or even join the natives, just isn't as important as the effects of the Spanish. There is literally new civilizations that still exist, new ethnicities of people. I'm not saying it isn't important and worth researching. But your saying the west making a lasting contact with the Americas isn't important because the Vikings did it? Let me tell you the Vikings didn't do anything that the natives hadn't already done. Except they did it by sailing. The important part is the lasting connection that transformed the Americas and led to clashes, and after the horribleness and apocalypse, a new people and civilizations.

To a lesser extent, just have the land, say they won, some reunification because they think they own it, and to teach the other border countries a lesson via their cruelty.   25.  @bradynlotterman8164  it would have stopped two of the last 3 which is better than doing nothing that would stop 0. Each barrier minimizes the damage. Everything that makes it harder will stop one. Maybe nothing will stop all, but it can greatly reduce it. Closest to zero would be a fall ban on all guns or extreme regulation on who can get them and where they can be kept. But you'd rather fight a benign effort like raising the age a little.

  36. Where did conspiracy theorist come up with that number for just weapons. The weapons are like a third of that. And the ammo, less than half a thousand. It's an ok question but it's probably not that important. I feel this is just a conspiracy theorist try to make a case for it being staged, some go as far as saying it was the Dems. But that is nuts. The most likely explanation is that he saved up money over a year or two. Maybe sold some stuff he already owned.

Fewer guns means there's fewer for people getting them illegally. And criminals don't normally need these guns and don't usually go on mass shootings, so it'll limit this anyway.

  43.  @jaydonsimmons2599  No one has proven he would need 9,000. Depending on the price of the guns it's between 1,5-3 and ammo is about 1,6+ tax. But we don't know if he got a deal or anything. With a job, and no rent, it starts to add up fairly quick. Even with your unknown figure, that's 3 months of wages based on my guess of his wages, based on how much a hiring ad in uvalde was willing to pay the minimum for. There was a maximum I didn't use that would give him an extra 3 thousand a year. That's assuming he didn't sell anything. And didn't already have money saved up. And didn't buy anything on sale, or used ECT.

  45.  @jaydonsimmons2599  I mean depression is real. I think you've listened to too many right wing stuff. Masks mandates are off and on. Just go to school if you think it'll help. Ask the teacher for sometime when the mask hurts. Or ask your parents for a more comfortable one. I think the issue isn't COVID at all. A lot of people aren't developing outside of school friends. Get some of those. And get some online friends, and some voice chat friends, and some game chat friends. Kids were already being sheltered before COVID and I see kids playing outside all the time. It's what the parents allow really. Maybe it isn't healthy to listen to 1) those right wingers for sure. But 2) politics so much at your age. If you enjoy it then do it. But maybe start with the local news. Or make sure you know your moral center instead of taking right wing talking points too seriously. Read not just both sides, but factual. Being objective means people you can trust to use the facts, present them, and give opinions. But no opinion might be better than a rightwing one. And a well written right wing opinion that's factual from a newspaper or online mainstream site is better than online rightwingers or the propaganda ones.
