My husband has a physical disability he was born with, missing an arm. He competed once in the “special” category at a karate tournament and felt so bad after his first fight he forfeited. It had gotten the 1st place in the normal division so it didn’t seem fair.

We had two kids kicked out of high school in 2007 for doing FAR less. One kid was making a video game (commissioned by other kids in school) and the other kid was the main character of the game (they didn’t know each other and the bully had no idea about the game). Both were kicked out of class the moment it was discovered, both were suspended and ordered to go to counseling that day (which really confused the kid who didn’t know what was going on). The kids responsible for commissioning the game came forward immediately and fessed up but they had no punishment. That was 2007 and neither of those kids had access to weapons but those who commissioned the game did. Most schools would have acted far faster and far harsher if they believed it was a threat. My guess is the school has seen worse.

Both my kids I had through IVF and I cannot describe how terrifying it is not knowing 100% if the baby is yours.

It’s interesting that the case that brought this to light had other issues involved (jury misconduct).

Many of the locals were not condemning the sheriff. I think that’s kinda telling.
16
Notice that none of the Rittenhouse jurors came out even two years later?

A bottle of water could get elected in New York if it had a D behind its name, or get indicted if it was an R

My issue is what that means. I’ve heard this in other cases where it shows proof of premeditation, but it could also just mean that she drives down that road regularly.

As someone with panic attacks brought on by masks (panic disorder diagnosed 10+ years ago so nothing new with covid), I'm glad someone finally got a mask exemption for panic attacks. All of my requests (even to the doc who diagnosed me) went unrecognized as an actual disorder.

One could argue that it’s the ultimate “selection” for top athletes. Phelps for instance would have an “unfair advantage” because his arms are longer, others have genetic advantages that have brought them into being in the top .1% of their sport that no amount of training could compensate for. Some are children of previous Olympic athletes and you could argue have been genetically bred to be better than the competition. As with every other aspect of life not everyone is created equal, you can do your best to give them a level playing field but some are smarter, faster, richer, etc and will always excel. In decades past they probably would have allowed them to compete and not understand why they were so strong, now we know and maybe should correct for it.

Same with Rubin.

Did you get sad when there was a death in the family or you got scared when you were left home alone and thought your house was haunted because that was the evidence used as proof of her knowing Ethan had mental illness.

I can't define cis and trans, I'm not an organic chemist.

Most clinics have 2-3 checks in place. Wondering if it was at the freezing stage or the transfer stage that it got mixed up

The seal is meant solely for presidential actions. He’s acting as a candidate. If he said the same with the official seal it would imply a lot more about his intention.
6
Didn’t they already try to recall him?
6
I believe Portland and Seattle had something similar until 2020.

I have a couple friends missing limbs. They hate it.

They have yet to determine a higher rate of transmission of COVID on a plane than in any other public place (such as a store or work place). In fact they've done tests (pre2020) on disease transmission on planes and found in most cases it's significantly lower than it would be in the "wild".
5
You're assuming they did. It's just as likely the post master is now lying knowing the fall out.
5
This isn’t necessarily true. It depends on how it was manipulated. Was it statistically invalid standards, was it lack of peer review - it can be caused by a lot of things and they really were vague on how it was manipulated.
5
Doesn't the believability of the confidential informant really depend on where the warrant was being issued? If it was in the heart of Florida I'd imagine it's have to be dead to rights Trump's BFF who had a copy of the docs at hand, while in DC the janitor of Mar a Lago who got fired because he never showed up to work there would likely be enough.

She may legitimately not know that it was intentional. A concussion would mean to her she has no memory of a fight, intentionality, etc. I’m skeptical of what the “practice run” means because in other cases it has been used to mean a street they drove down the day before (and the day before that, and before that, etc, or a street they had a distant friend on and were there 5 years ago).

“What did they have to pay Biden as a retirement package?” His first wife’s diary.

If it’s the other way around the persons being defamed must prove a negative which is impossible.
4
That was a slick ad read my man.

They did the same thing when Hillary became the candidate via super delegates. Same when republicans put in Mitt when Ron Paul had been the choice.
4
The race is just the indicator. Who knows how many kids out there are in the same position.
4
I wish Rand Paul was on the committee, would have been so nice to be like "Well good thing we have a doctor, Senator Paul what is a woman" "adult human female" "Judge Jackson how does that sound to you? Do you trust the doctors explanation?"
4
Yes. They said Bre had his money.

They entered a lot of things that the parents didn’t have access to (text to friends, journals etc). It blurs the lines between what the parents knew and didn’t know. The main thing the parents knew was he reported seeing ghosts and sent them obviously fake ghost videos he made as proof. This is stuff basically any teen would do. It lasted for 2-3 months and ended 6+ months before the crime. She knew he was depressed (again in April) due to a death in the family, loss of a dog and loss of a friend, which seems pretty ordinary.

Women can beat men, this is something that people overlook in these competitions and allow for the “but see she lost to another woman” argument to flourish. Women can beat men, when I tested for my black belt I was up against another blackbelt just as qualified as I was but better known as a “fighter” who was a guy. He didn’t land a hit on me because I got the first hit in and he lost his confidence. Something like that could have happened here.

The child was charged as an adult though. So either he was mis charged and the parent is responsible or vice versa

There were a handful of Ethiopian restaurants in Minneapolis when I was growing up (probably for the Somalian community) and it was SOOOOO good. I still remember the wonderful food. Also when I was sick once a coworker from Nigeria brought me homemade Nigerian food and that was also amazing.
3
I guess it was in his journal that wasn’t admitted but he said he had to break the lock and find the gun. The parents did apparently have it hidden and locked.
3
They both admitted that they had late night talks/visits but both were also very clear he had never been to her home.
3
Have you seen her speak?

Mother in laws have killed for less. I remember one who actually pulled the trigger because she wanted her son to have custody beyond the weekends. That one was smart enough not to involve her kid though so the son retained custody.
3
99% of the population thinks her being bald is a fashion statement. idk how many other people were like "Wtf there was a GI Jane movie?"
3
His “screaming for help” was sent in a text message to a friend months before, no evidence to show he ever told his parents. They saw he was depressed because of a death of a dog and a grandparent which is pretty obvious and something everyone goes through. Him “seeing things” was him saying their house was haunted again months before. Parents didn’t have access to his journals or texts that were presented as evidence of him “screaming out for help”.

A lot of sports do test testosterone. However it fluctuates in women throughout their cycle and some women (like 5%) have testosterone levels outside the “norm” because of conditions like PCOS. It doesn’t give them an advantage just makes them less fertile. The highest range for women with PCOS though is still less than half of a guy with low testosterone. Theoretically (it probably is being done but we can’t talk about it), testosterone shots could be given to male athletes to give them a bigger advantage.

It's a business. Even trump would probably say they should do something different - even if it isn't going more conservative (the CNN brand is toxic if they tried to be).
2
He’ll be found guilty, it’s a forgone conclusion at this point because it was “his” gun.
2
Or that the woman knew things about Till that she would have only known if something more serious like she accused him of actually happened. For instance that till only dated white women (as he apparently told her) and she did have bruises where he grabbed her.
2
It happens a lot from both genders, it’s just more salacious when it’s a woman
2
Jada rocks that look and has seemed to be very strong with regards to her condition (didn't even know it was a thing until today - just thought it was a fashion statement). Had she (or will) gone along with it, likely it would have been seen by everyone else as a compliment. It wasn't making fun of her having cancer, it was another condition she is very public about. Doesn't seem off limits.
2
I mean the case was broadcast, so we know what evidence was shown to the jury.
2
Yes
2
Nate’s a former prosecutor.
2
Exactly. This should have been a very easy pick up for the democrats. They lost a seat - barely, because they couldn't bother spending 5 minutes looking into the opponent. I'm assuming they were just not concerned about losing so they didn't care. On the other hand, who knows what the other guy had on his resume that isn't true, so maybe they didn't want to raise the issue.
