1:52 Damnit, I was about to make that same joke in the comments, only with a competitive car and the 2015 Manor.
278
And 2000-2005 sound.

+CaptainD00M I guess opening the fuel cap will work wonders as well, combined with the zig-zag driving. Or just crashing into the nearest obstacle so you won't make it.
179
***** Take a completely wrong route that's at least twice as long as it's supposed to be.
178
+pomsforthewin87 Dutch car adverts these days talk about nothing but fuel economy, safety equipment, tax advantages and lease costs. I would've loved to see this one on telly.
42
I'll have to, my internet connection is very, very slow.
31
This is probably Clarkson's anonymous Youtube account.
28
+LJWacker Yes, but they weren't actually trying to kill the environment. They were trying to not have themselves killed by the radiation. The environmental consequences were just the unfortunate secondary effects that came with this challenge.
15
+needraintodrift It would break down on the way there. Or just not start, forcing him to push until he runs out of energy himself. I suspect that would take three feet.
14
'But not for people who value their lungs'
13
Jack Beanstalk Very true. Though, in America, the country with no corners, they do work. And they're built like tanks. I think they should have hot hatches for police cars... cheap, yet fast and tough.
9
These were older models. Still, though, their current Vauxhall Astras are pathetic as well, even though they do have a few Jags to compensate :D
8
Dire Squirrel Amy can do plenty of things people care about. Although that's illegal if you're under 18 years old.
5
I'd watch this...
5
***** Allows you to do 40 mpg, which is much easier.
5
In its current political state (with Eastern Ukrainian people wanting to be part of Russia), I would be depressed to live there as well.
4
About all the people arguing about the M1A2 Abrams tank; tanks are outdated. Being slow and tough doesn't work if everyone uses bombs and planes. The Dutch have quit using tanks for two reasons: 1. They need the money, and their army isn't supposed to be powerful 2. Tanks are not needed very much
4
Velvet. The material Jeremy wrapped his car with.
3
Is it me, or does this look very easy?
3
Vivid Vervet Suddenly, a massive reply. Anyway, I mean that the Western European media are biased towards the US, who in turn are against Russia. As a result, it's easy to get a wrong image of the situation in Ukraine.
3
+GruszkuEntertainment Destruction? Bollocks, of course it can survive that.
2
I wouldn't be surprised if that light thing would be faster than the Cee apostrophe d
2
***** Like I said, it's only fast in a straight line (and even then, less than, say, 250 bhp out of a 4,6 litre V8 is pathetic). In corners, even an old Volvo or a massive old Citroen is better.
2
Displaced Jonesable Mine is mainly a mix of the three Top Gear presenters' accents. Hence why I say 'rubbish' all the time.
2
I just realised how good an original Mini would be at this. Or a Smart Fortwo.
2
+KingCadillacHimself Well, James beat the others in the Marina...
2
+Lord Windstar 10 American mpg is better than 10 British mpg, in the same way that 60 mph is better than 60 kph.
2
Those Chevy's are: 1) Small, which works well on curvy roads like those... 2) Extremely well-driven 3) Chasing cars that handle like battleships (well, the Merc is quite agile, but the Rolls simply... isn't), on roads as tight as these. It's not that strange.
2
The M.O. Project To be fair, climbing over the 'bodywork' to get in is easier if you're tall.
2
***** Indeed, it would be.
2
The Italians have several Lambo Gallardo's. Now that's style!
1
kackwurschtful Suddenly, an Audi RS6 with criminals inside drove by.
1
Jack Beanstalk Golf R's would be most effective as a 'flagship' car; expensive, but incredibly fast, especially the upcoming R400. The Focus ST/RS/whatever could be a cheaper alternative. Fiesta ST's, Clio RS's and 208 GTI's could be nice options for cheaper models, as well as Octavia VRS's and Ibiza/Leon Cupra's.
1
Boris Boskabouter What?
1
poiliisirosvo I suppose those are for transporting ME and criminals, not for car chases?
1
poiliisirosvo What? That's stupid!
1
Charlie Cassidy Even though Vauxhalls are mostly rubbish...
1
Charlie Cassidy What? How did you reply so quickly?
1
***** Well, it's good if you crash, but in the corners, it could've been better for that kind of money. You're better off with a Mondeo 2.5T in that regard.,,
1
***** Or hot hatches, as I mentioned earlier...
1
Snake Bite Unless you live in the country with no countries. Which I don't approve of, by the way.
1
***** Me? Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Crown_Victoria_Police_Interceptor It says here that the car has a 4,6 litre V8 with 250 bhp.
1
***** I was talking about the Crown Victoria.
1
***** I'll take a wild guess here: Australia?
1
***** Britain? I did not expect that...
1
***** Well, the combination of farms and massive machines quickly remind me of Australia.
1
***** I love Australia too. Though the British have nothing to complain about. The same goes for the Dutch (I'm Dutch myself), but they do complain. A lot. About nothing. Sometimes, I wish I were Belgian, or British, or maybe even Scandinavian.
1
Displaced Jonesable Well, language-wise, it's the best. I know the Belgians have the same mother tongue as mine (or at least half of them do), but I am unable to imitate their accent. But, after three years of training, I, driven by my disgust for the American accent, am able to imitate the British accent quite accurately.
1
Displaced Jonesable Why, thank you!
1
***** Heh, I just love the way 'rubbish' sounds. I use it pretty much the way the presenters do: I mainly use it to contradict others.
