Displaced Jonesable I do occasionally say (or rather, think, as I tend to think in English) 'oh cock' if something goes wrong.
1
***** I suppose by 'sports car' you mean 'Holden with a massive V8 up front, allowing them to reach incredible speeds while only allowing them to corner sideways'?
1
***** Heh, I didn't mean it as an insult. I think it's amazing. Australia is the manliest country in the world. Also, Astras are useless on Australia's long, stretched, straight (see what I did there?) roads.
1
***** They have plenty of acceleration speed thanks to their massive engine, which is why they're good in a straight line. But they're too heavy and primitive to be any good in the corners.
1
It would be ferocious in a straight line, but in the corners you'll have to be careful or you'll crash and die. It'll be the 2016 Manor F1 car all over again.
1
+Dire Squirrel Not really, the Mini can only be used on rally tracks.
1
Dire Squirrel It's illegal to drive on public roads, that's what I meant.
1
Dire Squirrel And why so?
1
***** They're the BBC. They're so rich they can do practically anything.

+Supertecnoboff I see this sort of comments on videos from a channel called HowToBasic (which makes fake cooking instruction videos with tempting thumbnails, that actually consist of the channel's owner basically playing with food, making an enormous mess in the process). But he uses expired food, so I bet the BBC, in its political correctness, did that as well.
1
Darren Ma It's the fault of the people who didn't buy said foods. To be honest, I think it's better used making money through Youtube ad money or BBC broadcasting licenses, than by simply being thrown away. It wasn't going to be eaten anyway.
1
Darren Ma Well, supermarkets don't want to run out of inventory so they buy too much, in case the demand turns out higher than usual. However, some of this food will not be bought and subsequently expire.
1
Shane Earley Well, that's what I reckoned. But here, it looks like just hitting the throttle and brakes while pulling the steering wheel of your power steering 4WD Bentley with an automatic gearbox. Something I could do after a training of, say, an hour, despite the fact that I don't have a driver's license...

Sean Phillips Like I said, it looks very easy. But yes, I know. It's actually quite hard.
1
Sean Phillips I understand that. However, given that the controls are pretty much identical to those of a racing game, it looks quite easy, which is why I even posted this.
1
Sean Phillips Like I've said several times now, I agree on that.
1
Utopic Unicorn Oh wow. Never knew that. I'll blame the media.
1
Mariana21 If I'm wrong, blame the Western European media.

I tried this in Assetto Corsa with the same Lotus T125 as in the video and a TG test track mod. On my first try, I missed the second-to-last corner and had to restart. My second try wasn't much better: though all assists were on, I span off several times and cut Hammerhead accidentally. I barely broke two minutes in the end. I'm a terrible driver, I know that. I can't really handle any of the cars in the game, except for my MX-5 mod.

Schinken LP Thanks :)

***** If you have to stop because of your brakes overheating, that means you can't arrive in Tsjernobyl. Or otherwise, you can make your engine run high revs stationary to burn a lot of fuel.
1
Cyclists. Finally something the Dutch don't complain about, even though they complain about everything. . . . . . . . . . No really, I'd be able to go through that traffic easily.
1
Chase Hudson Thank you.
1
+Bicycle sunday I wouldn't be surprised if Kimi were The Stig. He's just as enthusiastic and talk-happy as The Stig, after all.
1
+John Walker No cup holder? That's your biggest concern, after the fuel tank?

The M.O. Project Yes, but: - More bugs in your eye if you don't bring goggles. - More amused looks from bystanders when you go on the street, because you look like an idiot in an Atom. - More diseases caused by the lack of protection against cold and rain. - More sunburns because there's no roof. - More injuries and pain from the gymnastic dances required to even get in. - Your face ends up destroyed, looking like Clarkson's. That's not a good thing.
