@KTPStudios04 no they're not, they are a calf
2
you will find that they are l living exactly where they are supposed to be, both of them 😊
2
@cintronproductions9430 - even Australia has 'ant-eaters' spiny ones called echidnas... they are monotremes though, an ancient species of mammal that lays an egg but then feeds it's hatched baby on milk... the baby echidna is called a puggle... cute 😊 well sort of 'ugly cute' haha imo...
2
@muhammadafsar5395 ~ I just could not believe that 'Kruger' would agree with such a wrong comment/reply?? It was totally wrong, also it helps with the publics, mis-information, mis-EVERYTHING about these incredible animals, hyenas 😞 (there are only 4 species left, the spotted, the brown, the striped and the aardwolf) you sound like a very good person, take care of yourself 😊 from Australia xx
2
It's against the law, to prevent a cheetah from making a kill (probably to feed her cubs? who knows) besides there were more than 1 photographer/safari vehicle watching
2
fantastic footage, fellas...well done
2
@Spencerlayne I love all animals. Is that ok with you?
2
She's had a lot of human contact, 100's or maybe 1000's of visiters to Kruger national park, everyday! Plus her horn has been filed down, she would have been anesthetized for this... She would have a name/number and she may even have armed guards to protect her from poachers 🤔 a baby rhino is always good news...🦏 😍
2
I thought the hippo was going to eat the impala itself! Hippos have been filmed eating meat too!
2
They get away more often than not.
2
own genre, there are 4 species left in Africa/middle East/India...the spotted hyena (seen here) the brown hyena, the striped hyena and the aardwolf... they are distantly related closer to 'cats' but really are closer to the mongoose family, not related to canines at all...I find all species to be incredibly interesting animals 😊
2
@DustyTurtle192 ~ 😊 I love these weird animals that have their own 'family'..animals like no other! Hyenas certainly fit that mould! I love the Australian and Madagascan animals too, for their uniqueness
2
Hyena is after the gr(ass) there must be some reason for them going for the ass end? there must be nutrients in eating this....OR they just want to stay away from sharp horns and teeth! Bit of both?
2
I would have preferred to watch the outcome?? This is not very fair, we don't know what happened?
2
I thought so too! Some must get snagged on bushes and branches and stuff... ouch!
2
@anandk925 That is amazing! Thankyou 💐
2
@ahmedharidi What about it? So do other predators, especially lions, hunting dogs, bears and wolves etc. These animals have to eat quickly before their food is stolen from other predators.
2
The bull elephant must have been on 'musth' a hormonal condition, characterised by highy aggressive behavior 😕
2
@BOSIE321 ~ indeed! The spotted hyena is up there in animal intelligence like, chimps, dolphins, bees, octopus etc. The spotted hyena is crazy smart based on food puzzles...
1
Cheetahs chirp too!
1
@Derreck Jones ~ sorry but lions can and do, climb trees...
1
@Derreck Jones ~ ?? Lions are capable of climbing back down a tree...I have seen videos of lions climbing trees to catch monkeys too.."break their back" pfft! sorry that sounds unbelievable, cats are very tough, the saying they have '9 lives' is not for no reason, cats are very tough animals, domestic and wild...
1
@Derreck Jones ~ you think you are telling the truth but it is not! Lions are very capable of climbing down a tree, they are NOT stupid and would not climb up if they couldn't climb down, my goodness, man, what are you saying? 🤣
1
@kms6340 - gee, just ignore my comment, thanks a lot...😆 haha jk Other guy is completely correct 😊 too
1
I doubt this was a tourist vehicle, but a park ranger, bringing his family through the park, on his day off, babies are not allowed on proper tourist, 'open' vehicles, for obvious reasons...
1
I think you are talking about the South American jaguars? The ones that catch/kill the caimans...(large aquatic reptiles that look like and are related to crocs/alligators) those huge ass cats have the largest teeth of all big cats and are very powerful for their size!
1
@tech_shield6963 ~ yeah but they can still grow quite large! Only a few specialised jaguar pass this hunting technique onto their offspring, it it only a few 100 jaguar that actually can hunt/catch caiman, the footage we all watch...they are amazing animals- the caiman AND the jaguar! I love wild animals!
1
@mudauvhadau170 ~ lol must have been a typo...would you like me to correct it for you?
1
@mudauvhadau170 ~ hahaha what a shame...that I don't.... otherwise we could have had an amazing YouTube back an' forth... sorry bruh
1
Spotted hyenas can crunch through the bones to eat the nutritious bone marrow.
1
I love all species of hyena. Up there with the most fascinating animals ever on Earth.
1
well... the "sausages" remark sorta was... I would rather be happy for the lions than be miserable for the buffalo..of course I have compassion for the prey animals but I am realistic too, nature doesn't get it wrong, never...there are way more prey animals than predators..
1
People raise their pet dogs and they can go on to kill you..50+ a year in the US and around the world, 25,000 people are killed by domestic dogs every year..
1
@sonicbaseballzoodreams ~ just like sometimes a spotted hyena can?
1
Mike Noir - a National Geographic video called Lions and Hyenas - Eternal Enemies. An excellent documentary which dispels many hyena myths. Highly recommended
1
Toraguchi Toraguchi ?? That is a strange comment to me, I find them very beautiful and powerful to look at. Really though, these animals are so incredibly powerful for their size, they are like the wolverine, an animal also mistakenly thought of as 'scavengers'. Also, you do realize how important scavengers are for a healthy ecology?
1
I like nope ropes very much but I realise that eagles gotta eat too 😞 very good footage of nature at its finest...
1
Cordero Core ~ hahaha well said mate ✔ very true 😊
1
Hyenas are very chill. They share food with leopards too.
1
@faraz-i3x ~😅
1
Who laughed?
1
@JFLTX ~ sorry I thought you meant other comments, my bad. And you're right it wasn't funny but humans do laugh inappropriately during 'stressful' situations, nervous sort of laughter...it all turned out ok in the end, thank goodness 😊
1
@DinnerForkTongue ~ you've just got a nine inch nail stuck up your ass, not my fault you don't pull it out cos you like it 🔨🤣
1
@mertinlad ~ I believe ya!
1
I hope she wasn't trying to birth...
1
Hey "pfft pfft" all I got was the tail, no fair! Seriously though this was a very good video, these painted dogs are probably the best wild dogs on the planet. All are rare, from the dhole to the wolf , these guys are something special ❤
1
Damien ~ at least I have some, you won't ever because 1. you shoot blanks 2. you never get any sex
1
Sweetie, that baby baboon died the very next day... how can a leopard possibly give a newborn baboon, baboon milk?
1
How DO these poor hippos die?
1
He's exhausted too
