hries57 No sense at all.

Bob Bobbalina Your comment has no correlation to the video. If you actually knew anything about military history you’d realise that there isn’t a single war which we won as a direct result of being in a coalition with America. Every war America and Britain has fought in, where you joined us, would have been won in the first place as by the time America joined the tables had turned. World War 2 is a great example of this.

Jack Fitzpatrick The Wildcat.

H.M.S duck Wildcat will replace the lynx.
1
Rio- Tic2003 Yes completely right and we have done too. The RN have had their wildcats for the paste three years or so now.

Mooooohamsalad Closer to 89% from the last census.

Barry Sabahat Strange? How

Jodie Price Scrap ships don’t get a lot anyway.

Carrying out army traditions, like this, doesn’t cost extra money. The exercise has a point, to carry out a tradition and maintain high kit standards and discipline.

Firsteerr Lastmwwew Donations do not go into salaries or bonuses of any member of staff in the NHS. General managers such as a GP practice managers don’t receive bonuses. The NHS don’t use MacBooks day to day as the software they use is only supported on Windows and a much older version of Windows. Go to any GP surgery or hospital and you won’t see a Mac that is for commercial use as oppose to personal use.

Anthony Velasquez Those are for sailors only. They have the names of ships AND bases.

1111 No correlation between height and strength, in fact the tallest people in the world are often the weakest. She has the ability to carry a taller man on a stretcher as she passed the stretcher run to pass out of training. You should also note that as she is in the RN there is a smaller chance of her needing to do that when in comparison to the army.
1
Great White No the UK don’t want to colonise and having a new ship doesn’t signify that.
1
@Horizon344 So my point about neighbouring counties and their response isn’t true then? It’s all fake and they are welcoming Afghans with open arms? Under the 1951 Refugee Convention they would be classed as refugees as they are escaping a government takeover and are trying to flee unlike those who are staying.

N I C K P O W E R UK are much better than others at drill, watch trooping the colour then you’ll see.

Luis Ruiz Not at all. Instils discipline, attention to detail and leadership through instruction. Are you implying we remove all traditions?

Please explain.

Van Solo Submarines not subs.

You have no idea do you. The Russians are not going to blow up either carrier when on the move or in port. Under the same principle, why haven't the Russians bombed any US carrier at sea or in port then? Also, under the same principle any possible target that doesn't move is "Just sitting there." You have far too much time on your hand to rant about a topic with no evidence or solid subject point.

tsu 800 Unfortunately in 2018 if we didn’t choose a variety of heights they would be slammed by some lefty group.
1
intruder313 There are enough escorts for the carriers when deployed.
1
Wayne Mahomet it’s personal choice to have uniform tailored at this point. The main time the forces tailor your kit is in training.

The belt buckle is centred, look again using the tie as a reference. The buttons are deliberately off centre. The soldier isn’t wearing a tunic either.
1
Doug Boyd That’s how the army do it too. Why look at the French, they aren’t exactly inspirational.
1
Private soldiers are paid more than £50 a day in the reserves. That doesn’t include deployment pay. That figure also doesn’t include the gap between civilian pay and military pay for when you are away,
1
ejcmoorhouse Not really what the Navy do...

You have very poor size perception,

Cats and traps are good if you have a bottomless budget, you have to maintain the cats and traps as well as repair them over time and repair the small bits of damage they do to aircraft as well. The ski jump works and is effective so what's the problem? The F35B also uses vertical landing and take off. If one brakes the others cannot be used, suspending all flights, how efficient is that.

Cailen Knopp QE shouldn’t be nuclear powered. We wouldn’t have been able to afford one carrier let alone two if nuclear powered. Her range is enough to get her from Portsmouth to Sydney with fuel left so not a problem especially when you have the worlds best replenishment service, the RFA. Being nuclear powered would prevent us from visiting over 40% of the worlds ports which happen to be mostly commonwealth too. It’s more expensive to maintain plus the mid life refuelling would take both carriers out of action for years with nothing else. Ask the French how their nuclear aircraft carrier is getting along in the long run.

ellis carroll It really isn’t 🙄

Peter W No “the” in front of the name.

Blob B I have to two and they agree with me

Ramps are newer than cats and traps as they were developed first.

Dogsoldier 1950 The carrier exceeded 30 knots on trials, standard practice when on trials for all ships.

kenya catholic If they were fat they wouldn’t pass their fitness tests. I’ll have you the army has been the only force to have non-passable soldiers in terms of weight.
1
The fact that you can’t spell or construct a sentence properly sums up why the Army would never take you anyway.
