arjunuk1 We haven't scrapped the ship for that reason.
1
John Youde Obviously they did
1
John Youde I don't think that they did take off all valuable equipment. I know they did because a few months before she went to be scrapped, they took all valuables off the ship, it was on the news. Keep up with current affairs.
1
Maikl TRITON You have no idea do you
1
Gar Whittaker As Royal Navy don’t comment on the positions of submarines, it’s unusual to make that comment.

jenny gore Not a waste of money at all, any evidence? The F35B doesn’t require cats and traps. Cats and traps are good if you have a bottomless budget, you have to maintain the cats and traps as well as repair them over time and repair the small bits of damage they do to aircraft as well. The ski jump works and is effective so what's the problem? The F35B also uses vertical landing and take off. If one brakes the others cannot be used, suspending all flights, how efficient is that.

Explain.

A highly creased item would be deliberate but a crease is where you have to turn an item over on an ironing board.
1
Micki Creek the Royal Navy hace enough escorts. Google it.
1
no name Every ship in the world leaks, even submarines leak and remain dived for weeks at a time. Shows how current you are with defence news considering this leak was fixed well over a month ago.
1
no name Has at some point no doubt, even US ships leak (I know shock horror).

studinthemaking Often in trials for all vessels the top speed is broken by 5 or more knots.

Roger Boswarva The Navy will never do trooping the colour, there is no previous link unlike the foot guards.

Mac 73 Every ship and boat in the world leaks regardless of how old it is. It has been known for submarines to leak and still stay dived. The carrier has enough crew and escorts for both carriers as confirmed by the Royal Navy and several defence journals. This can also be shown with record numbers of destroyers being deployed at once for the past two years. We own 17 F35B's, all of which are fully operational with y of these taking part in overseas operational duties and the rest shadowing Russian aircraft when operational. The others are in America flying under British pilots until those are ready. QE has embarked F35B’s for the first part of air trials being successful and are now on stage 3. No aircraft carrier in the world, even the Americans don’t start with aircraft. The UK have just ordered another 17 with the over all total to reach 138.

yogiswimmer You have no idea do you, there is a large international history behind pace-sticking.
1
Cats and traps are expansive and not reliable, when one breaks all fail. They take up more space too.
1
Doesn’t cost any extra.

ends all All ships are a ‘she’.
1
Daniel Haines No evidence of that happening.
1
Daniel Haines Despite the fact that all 6 have been deployed at once recently and some have had their propulsion systems fully fixed. They aren’t being mothballed at all.
1
Daniel Haines Apart from the two occasions of having 6 at sea there has always been a training ship in harbour, not a mothball. “Shows how much you know”, you know you’re loosing the argument when you resort to blank insults.
1
Daniel Haines I didn’t bring up HMS Bristol at all, very odd to mention the vessel especially as she is used by cadets predominantly and hasn’t been in service for longer than I’ve been alive.
1
GICking January 2018 saw no US carriers at sea.

Snowman374th You have no idea do you, warships are not just for war.
