Whatever you want to call them, whatever names you want to use, the truth is, everyone recognizes two political extremes: no background/government laws and only voluntary contracts on one end (usually called anarcho-capitalist Libertarian) in one extreme, and dictatorial totalitarianism in the other extreme. From this point-of-view, "freedom" is not a semantically varying word. Its meaning is tied to voluntary contracts. The US was created for a moral people, which excluded the behaviors you misconstrue as freedoms, such as joining a union or behaving immorally according to the mores of the society. All this has already been firmly defined by Hoppe. There is such a thing as objective freedom: only the people closest to a decision having a say over that decision. That turns out to be voluntary contracts in our human reality. The other extreme is someone far away controlling your behavior over here. That turns out to be dictatorial totalitarianism. This video is simply word-play as is usual for the left to employ these tactics. No one on the Libertarian side would argue this - ask yourself why. To us it is clear you are word manipulators. I have attempted to show you the logic. It's a structural difference between the two political extremes, and it has to do with nearness of decision.

On the other extreme there is no such ability, as everyone is governed by a far-away centralized bureaucracy: dictatorial totalitarianism. It doesn't matter which words you sue. Left and right are just shorthand words for those two objective political extremes.

  16.  @Seanain_O_hEarchai  Yes. Gaelic people have nothing "Celtic" about their history. Their languages only started being called Celtic in the 17th century and only by a minority of scholars. John Collis, current Celtic Scholar, points out that languages are named after people, not the other way around. Hence Scottish and Irish cannot be called Celts even if they speak a so-called "Celtic Langauge" just like the Romans did not call themselves "Latini" for speaking Latin, they called themselves Romans after the place they came from, not the language they spoke, and the languages from the Romans today are called Romance, and their speakers today are not called Roman, so just the same Celtic speakers cannot be called "Celts". Irish people are Hibernians and speakers of Hibernian and Scottish people are Caledonians and speakers of Caledonian. The name "Celt" is not a part of the history of those peoples.

With the same ease you say "the world is not binary" I can say "the world is binary" so it is not an argument. It is also self-contradictory. Is the fact that the world is not binary a binary question? According to you it would not be, in which case it would both be binary and not be binary at the same time. That is a logical contradiction. Hence the world is actually binary in every question.

Since the beginning, when Herodotus first identified the Celts as "the westernmost people of Europe bordering on the Cynetes" (of southern Portugal, hence the Celts being the Lusitanians), the Celts have always been the western Iberians, and then there's tons of British Islanders and Irish people trying to falsify this history in order to steal their name, and that is what you're doing here, trying to find any excuse to not look at originally how people called themselves, because you know that the evidence is not on your side of course, and because it is convenient to you.

Ancient Romans and especially Greeks used "Celts" as a tribal name to refer to people from Iberia and those similar to them in southern France. There were no "culture names" in ancient times, only tribal names.

I am against post-modernism. 3. the current association between Irish and Celts is actually Romanticist and has a "post-modern" attitude in it, which has already been reviewed by academics. 4. the current president of the International Congress for Celtic Studies, who regulates all Celtic Studies in universities, agrees that the Irish are not Celts and that Celts were tribes living in western Iberia who called themselves Celts. He is woefully uninformed and simply trusting popular sources instead of listening to the President of the International Congress for Celtic Studies, Dr. Patrick Sims-Williams in his paper "An Alternative to 'Celtic from the East' and 'Celtic from the West'" where the thoroughly refutes any notion that Celts were Central Europeans and connected to Hallstatt and La Tene. The people who called themselves Celts were Lusitanians (shocking, I know) and the Celtici tribes all around them, encompassing all of Iberia except for Hispania Citerior and Hispania Ulterior. They had trading posts and settlements in southern and central France. That is it for the Celts.

George Buchanan in 1582 said he was only calling Irish and Scottish "Celtic languages" because he believed they were brought to Ireland and Scotland by the Ancient Spaniards who called themselves Celtici at the time. So he never meant to say "the Irish are Celts" but instead "the Spanish are Celts and they brought their Celtic language to Ireland therefore Irish is (a) Celtic (language)". He also never said "therefore the Irish are Celts", that came in the 19th century.

On top of everything you said, and as alluded by the Irish Times article you mentioned, the theory that the Irish are Celts is an outdated, Romanticist, Victorian point-of-view, and no longer valid to being with. The Portuguese are the direct descendants of those people who called themselves Celts. As you expertly explained, never in the history of the Irish did they ever refer to themselves as Celts. The people who did refer to themselves as Celts are, unexpectedly to some, the Lusitanians, as can be seen easily from any epigraphic database online by searching for "celt" and observing the massive concentration of tombstones with that name in the exact area of Lusitania.
