The issue is the "progressive caucus" is not comprised of only justice democrats (not corporately owned) and many are beholden to the same corporate interests as the leadership to get their support for reelection. As long as the corporate monsters hold the bulk of keys to being elected the "progressives" they control will not be free to act for their constituency.

  5. He did not fight as you would have liked but he put the idea of an unowned leader on the map. He found an entirely new way to fund politicians, he set a new standard for consistency and integrity. He was not as aggressive as we would like but a look at his nature we should not be surprised. We have images of cops breaking windows, and examples right wing freak shows shooting cops to provoke violence. How do you square that circle in your head? Ford, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are on the list list of presidents who waged no new wars that were authorized in some way by Congress. Trump's term in office has not been the first four-year term since Eisenhower without a new war. Carter, Ford and Nixon all served after Eisenhower and did not bring the country into new wars.

Worrying about what happens after you die is like stressing over a bet you were forced to make. You can you cannot change the outcome either way so it makes sense just wait and see what happens. Anyone that tells you how it will work out is blowing sunshine up your ass to make you feel better and give you the illusion you have some control over a total unknown. That my 6 year old still believes in Santa does not make him any more grounded in reality than those of us who no longer do. Blind faith in things does not make them true. For Joe at least a large section of his base cares about corruption, the Trump voters do not.
