the idea we never had border security before the wall is dishonest nonsense.
1
This criminal needs to be impeached.
1
Mayor pete!, Establishment darling, king of empty platitudes. Trump has so many enemies that not all are freinds. When you have a candidate that openly says democrats are too much about policy he is dismissed out of hand. The fact is the establishment media loves him and is boosting him should be the first clue to his actual quality
1
He is under investigation for numerous crimes .. that is not as shiny as it could be for him.
1
Let him never forget it.
1
The party of law and order hates laws applied against any of them.
1
All trump does is lie. He siad his own agreement was garbage. He says he does not need Canada yet made a terrible agreements last time anyway, why?
1
No one buys this nonsense except for the trump drunk who never listen to what these monsters say as they drool and nod along.
1
Gerrmandering is deeply undemocratic and should be illeagal.
1
No one is advocating for optional late term non medically driven abortion ? The ACA sucks because it is the the GOP solution to health care, we need to replace it with a real health care solution and they have nothing.
1
Even more reason to ensure we get thr vote out to see lose. She needs to impeached!
1
Primary characteristic
1
I see your concern as valid, they are going to cheat their way into total control if we do not watch out. It is not Donald driving this, this is a billionaire think tank deal.
1
Hugo Chavez? Stunning is right, he has been dead for years.
1
Republicans clearly hate facts.
1
@ceceliadenny3542 Am old enough to remember the dems pissing away a super majority. In fighting to stopped most of the possible elements listed. Hope you are correct, tempering my enthusiasm.
1
Pretending it is Bidens' fault that Trump is crashing the economy won't fly
1
This is to force shitty environmental standards on California .. it is not for safety. No matter what the GOP policy look for the $ signs. The state department already indicated they were going to prosecute car companies that opted to implement California's standards. This is a run to take away states right and nothing more.
1
It comes back hung it is time to admit our system is broken ..
1
If they had this evidence they should have used it in court, oh they did and it was tossed out? That is it then case closed! Crawl back to the swamp Rudy.
1
This clown said lots of words but nothing of substance. He did not explain why people are dropping like flies in his state.
1
Pull this welfare state's federal money, break them!
1
What the dems dont need are Republicans running as democrats. The whole reason they are hated is they are too establishment minded
1
Scared they will just do nothing and screw us for the next cycle as people forget how crazy the GOP is these days.
1
Want the temp down? Quit assulting senators, mayors, and judges.
1
I like how they turned down her mike so he could call her out. This is exactly what should be done to these stains if they can not have a conversation like a normal human being.
1
@eamonndoherty9945 Unless you look at the polls! The fringe that loves the radical GOP is the minority. As they get crazier and more culty the center is abandoning them too. The GOP has not won the popular vote outside gerrymandered districts for decades. The idea outside a cult following they are popular is a lie you have been sold to preserve your fragile media constructed identity.
1
@B_Bodziak He is extreme, but that is the GOP in a nutshell these days. The dems would be silly not to let them shoot themselves in the foot with this speaker.
1
@KaptnKirk66 Do explain
1
@KaptnKirk66 Fair enough, cheers
1
She was vp, pretending she was wholly responsible is ignoring she was not president. Ignoring corporate price gouging is one way go, silly but have at it.
1
Ouch!
1
The crying about being call racist as you do racist things is always pretty empty.
1
@RickyTheReptoid It hurts my head to see this argument used with no sense of irony. It is enough to make one despair for humanities future.
1
@mikejudkinswrongway What would you do if you meet him? Do tell snowflake.
1
@jra6023 the KKK has been voting gop for a long time, catch up. Because you expect me to be in the same ideological bubble as you does not make it true. Pretending I do not know what the shills you back stand for is empty and weak spin. The fact is I dislike Palosi too for many of the same reasons I universally loathe the sellouts in the GOP. She is cut from the same cloth and has many of the same failures and that is why I dislike her and the shills you support. I am nothing like you, stop projecting.
1
@gofigure4920 By my own words the entire democratic leadership needs to be replaced. Being better than republicans on agreed upon wedge issues is no longer good enough. They will be primaried one by one as they defend unpopular ideas on behalf of the donors or they will work for us. There are a handful of elected officials that do pass my test, there will be more. The right can not hope to say the same because they embrace and worship corruption with a vote for the modern GOP.
1
@j-the-general6340 And you cut no one with your weak ass spin.
1
@gofigure4920 He may, but when Bernie wins the primary he will be neutered. He will be forced to defend the status quo which everyone even his deluded base hates.
1
@A Hole Got it, this is from a guy calling himself A hole. Hilarious projection from the right as they group speak the same failed dishonest talking points lacking any kind of argument over and over.
1
@A Hole There are work agreements to allow workers to come here and temporarily work on those farms so they are not the problem. It is not where most "illegals" are employed. 72% of undocumented workers are in construction and if we wanted to address the problem we should be going after the employers not the workers lured here.
1
@A Hole It is completely ineffective. Most of the people you are concerned about are coming are coming through monitored entry points. The wall does nothing. It is entirely symbolic. As long as we let these guys get away with luring people here it seems pointless to cast those that come as the problem. As long as there are jobs, more will come no matter how high you build the wall as they usually drive in on a road anyway.
1
@A Hole Most drugs do not come across the border that would be protected by a wall. They are smuggled via monitored entry points and via the water. Again the wall is largely symbolic. The ONLY answer to the drug problem is to legalize it. These drugs are problematic only because they are illegal and have the exact same problem alcohol did when we handed control of it to the gangs during Prohibition. Drug use is higher today than a decade ago and by any standard the war on drugs is an overt failure that is costing us billions while failing worse each year. We should be legalizing taxing and regulating Cannabis. Keeping illegal will continue drive criminal empires just like when drinking alcohol did when it was briefly criminalized. If you are concerned about the violence associated with an underground drug market then legalize it and move the fights into court room and not on the streets. The existing policy empowers violent criminals and for profit prisons and no one else. Ending the drug war is what we should be doing. We are putting our finger in the dyke and criminalizing the consumption of substances. The drugs like heroin, cocaine and the others are problematic because they are addictive but their worst effects are mitigated not by prisons but by treatment. When Portugal decriminalized (not legalized) these drugs their use went down. They were able to focus funds on treatment and decreased to worst effects of the drugs that still effect us in our system which does nothing to stop them. What is "retarded" is advocating for the failed status quo polices based on a gut feeling, you obviously have not put much thought or research into this subject.
1
@A HoleFor the last time, the proposed non walled sections of the border are not the source of our problems. You have not even tried to counter my assertions about the source of undocumented workers or how drugs actually get in. We literally can not stop drugs by outlawing them, as long as it is lucrative and there is a market much like "illegals" coming it will continue. As fast as we close one hole another will be made. We have seen this repeat over and over. We have not solved the problem in 50 + years for a reason. Your advocated policy has done nothing but become a giant money pit that empowers criminal empires. How much longer do we give them to try stop the drug lords they created with their policy even as they continue to fail even worse each year?
1
@A Hole My answer is not that. For the areas more remote where we do not have a wall we should increase our drone surveillance of the region. We should make it so no one can walk through that area without us seeing them. We need to create fast action units that can be rapidly deployed to breaches. We can use existing hardware and facilities to support this by simply allocating or transferring them them to this task. This solution has several advantages. It does not require the government to invoke eminent domain and seize the land of citizens to build the wall and respects property rights. It is far cheaper and arguably more effective because it puts human eyes on the issue and does not rely on mindless concrete. And it is modern solution that will be harder to circumvent than a wall making it the better choice. That being said you have not shown our existing situation without a wall in some places problematic enough to call it an emergency. I think locking down those locations with drones makes sense but more because we can do it then there is real and driving reason reason to do it. On the issue of drugs we need to overhaul our policy if we are actually concerned about the issues we face. No wall, no drone surveillance team, no border crossing will be able to address the problem of drugs getting passed what are static defenses that can be circumvented. This will always be true as long as there is a dollar to be made. I agree with Trump when he is right, I unlike you disagree with him when he is wrong and just selling a line that a specific group likes even if it does nothing.
1
@A Hole Your gardening analogy is flawed. If we were to liken it to where we are today it puts you in a jungle that grows back stronger every time you turn your back on it after hacking it down. We have been chopping for 50+ years and are surrounded by jungle many times more thick then when we started having gained zero ground. Of course you want more of the same.
1
@A Hole Again you are not correct when guessing what I think. I am not your mirror opposite. I loathed cheating Hillary and Obama came in promising "change" that he did not deliver. They both kinda sucked for many of the same reasons. Many of the same reasons I also dislike trump. There is a good reason we do not have a wall in the sections we do not have a wall, we do not really need one. Republicans and democrats alike have left it open until now. Ask yourself, what is the emergency? What is different today?
1
@gofigure4920 The only people even bringing it up are people like you. He is part of the GOP which is fully complicit in globalization and have been much like the establishment dems whom I despise. Trump literally just signed a free trade deal that was basically the same as the last one. Someone is getting a lot of fake news It is not me. Go ahead feel sorry for me, it is not my candidate facing multiple indictments. You yelling fake news as they drag his buddies to court then jail is hilarious.
1
@A Hole Am sure his low popularity and the fact half his cabinet has been imprisoned for lying, corruption and tax evasion will work on his behalf.
1
Eddie Bacon You are deeply mistaken, that you can not differentiate sex from gender speaks to your ignorance and nothing else. That you want to police how anyone identifies makes you similar to the clowns in Saudi Arabia, own that.
