  17. Even if this study was valid (and by all accounts it is not) it would still not be a good argument against parenthood of any kind.  Adults becoming parents have almost no restrictions with regard to their "quality" in our society and there is no reason to start with gay parents.

How is the classification of gun types even relevent when we are talking about subjects like universal back ground checks? There is no amount gun knowlege that counters a desire for that position. The fight to properly reglate the purchase and ownership of guns is not an attack on gun rights and you characterizaion is the exact kind of stawman david describes.
