What Trump does is not normal and not acceptable. Defamation of character is bad enough, but when it can lead to physical harm that should NEVER be accepted. There are limits to the freedom of speech, and rightly so. Trump's freedom to speak ends where it endangers Hunter Biden's freedom to live.

  8. Excellent point about evangelical leaders stoking fear. This is the exact opposite of what a Christian leader would do. Christian leaders stoke FAITH, not fear. Here is some good advice for Christians who find themselves in a church that stokes fear: LEAVE! IMMEDIATELY! If your feel less confident about the future or society after going to a specific church, DON'T GO TO THAT CHURCH! God will never say that society is going to break down, because it isn't as long as there are praying Christians. God will never say that we should worry about people turning against us, because they aren't while Christians pray for them. Except in areas where the Gospel is newly introduced and/or rivaling a dominant religion, which is NOT the situation in the US or any western nation. Leaders warning of persecution in the USA are liars. Fear is a hallmark of the Devil. Faith and trust is the hallmark of God.

  11. This SCOTUS opinion has turned the USA into a dictatorship. The first step to take is to impeach the six justices who concurred with this, all six of them, for serious misbehaviour undermining the Rule of Law and elevating the Executive above the Legislative & Judicial. Because Justices are not appointed for life, they "shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour". That is the literal text from the Constitution.

  19. ​ @chrisharris1522  That is very true. There is nothing "christian" about what the cultists want. For example, there is no Biblical principle or rule that would prohibit abortion. In fact, the whole idea of using the Law to prevent abortion is contrary to Christianity. Laws do not promote righteousness. Same for their treatment of immigrants. That is something the Bible warns very strongly about: a society that does not care for immigrants will be judged by God. Same for the poor and the sick.

If someone asks you to do crime, even if he/she has authority over you, it is your duty before the Law to reject those instructions.   45. I find it disturbing that criminal cases could be made to wait on one another. Justice delayed is Justice Denied. The only time where the agenda of a defendant becomes relevant is when he needs to actually take the stand. I fear it may be Trump's tactic to force cases to a later date because of a case that he will then have delayed, so that delaying one trial (e.g. with the help of Cannon) can delay all the others as well. The US Legal System must not fall for this tactic: Cannon will happily delay his trial until long after the 2024 election. She can not be given precedence over all the other cases: let hers come last.
