And its stay is elongated

I'm calling bull shit on 7:35 You have countless of years from the UCS that esimate anywhere from 1 extra tonne of CO2 to 6 dependent on battery size and location of manufacture.

Market says no

That animation was so random, was hard to swallow, but it also had 0% mentions of Jags, DMCs, or brexit...

A good FYI for Up to Speed - after the 2000-2003 CARB Electric Vehicle battle that saw California sued by the 43rd Administration, GM and Oil companies and defeated because of its very stringent regulations and for wanting 5% of all cars by 2005 sold in the state to be fully electric. The defeat enraged many early EV adopters and supporters (including Elon Musk) who saw the actions as big business 'Killing The Electric Car'. Also of other fishy details such as Chevron buying the shares to Texaco who bought shares from GM of Ovonics Chemistries which patented the NiMH technology used in modern electric cars of the late 90s - many electric cars that were once built were now illegal since Cobasys (Ovonics) sued Panasonic, Toyota and other brands for using their technology and only in 2004 did they succeed by prohibiting the manufacture of large capacity (50 - 98 Amp-hour) NiMH cells that offered +100 mile ranges as much as 20 years ago. If it wasn't for that blatant ass shadiness that overpowered the hand of CARB and people's appetite for battery electrics, then very much likely we wouldn't have Tesla as it is today.

As an EV fan, all the unchill madness is there to pander to young petrol heads and investors. Ie, crapitalism. The cars that not only generate the most profit, but what also gets the most attention is more profitable than truly affordable, zero emissions cars for the people

@thebeaniestbeanboys5735 and I'll do it again if I will ever be arsed to.
1
@thebeaniestbeanboys5735 Good. Anyways!

Hey @Donut Media, If you ever need gross detail for EVs, give Nikki Gordon Bloomfield of Transport Evolved a shout!

All of our yankee piston heads friends are getting into 1/2 mile drags because they can't beat a rando Tesla at the 1/4 mile. Anyways, Germany is laughing seeing you guys finally come to the 1/2 mile (800m) table.

The big new scooter scene would be Gogoro actually, srry...
1
This has been going on since 2016 man. Started off in London
1
The ending totally negates that every car manufacturer is now vying to all-electric and electrification. A new S16 would be sick ... but the electrics amust come first. And Nissan sad to say has been cutting corners on its electric LEAF too. It wasn't helped how Ghosn wanted to further use for plug-ins while the Japanese traditionalst execs in accusation of setting Ghosn up have wanted to go straight toward hybrid and mild hybrid cars, much like Honda and Toyota.

5th Gen Prius is €46,000 in Ireland Toyota is desperate
1
Once upon a time before the Corona days, petrol was €1.48/litre ($5.59/gal) and my 13 year old 177,000mi Gen II would go from full to dry after 550 miles on 45 litres of fuel - in winter. So... *Laughs in European* It's such an all rounder, despite being a bit too long to park, but great turning circle.
1
Absolutely! As too is furiousdriving who blends the typical youtube car review formula with +20 year cars.

You guys should really look into lifted Priuses. Torquey little mountain goats that work very well for car camping. Very hard to get less than 35 mpg crawling over rocks

Garrison Nichols ngl, Yes.

Somebody build me an UWU engine!
1
Fyi dudes, the "Power mode" in the Priuses don't exactly translate into more power, which it should, it definitely made the throttle mapping aggressive which is all software. But crucially it makes the engine run "over time", to always have extra torque for the generator MG1 to create electricity. What does this do? The goal of PWR mode is to preserve more of the battery state of charge wherever possible, so if you're bombing down the motorway at 90 mph to the hospital, you won't find the rather miniscule battery capacity leaving you with the engine alone and 20 - 36 less horsepers
