Remember Those who profit the most pollute the most Never underestimate the middle man in meat processing factories and supermarkets who bid on the commodity. Or the middle men with orvate newspapers that fear monger to farmers and the politocs they endorse. Agriculture workers are already been made vulnerable. For decades in Ireland they're being pushed out if they can't meet "high efficiency" demand, pivoting from a mixed production farms to almost entirely beef and dairy production. This profit driven market dogma is what's causing emissions. Farmers are forced into taking out loans, and no surprise when there's sad and "troubling" stories of suicides and drug abuse all over the country. 100,000 Family farms have disappeared in Ireland since the 90s. Acres and acres of land are sold to big, "efficient" farmers who make millions from EU CAP funding. Big farmers with friends in processing plants, supermarket chains and government. They don't get any slap

Capitalism is still capitalism. If impoverished workers owned their share of the business they work for.

Future history books would be a great laugh to read.

A very Brit thing to say though

Mobilize, Empires are created to die.

The hook is that their identities are pinned up, hacked and tacked on so easily. Their sense of identities are messed with man. We have seen at what happens when wearing masks, seatbelts or rolling coal inflicts near-existentially on their sense freedumb freedom as an American? I guess this ridiculous current development of the US could be down to the fact that Americans are just rather shallow thinkers.
9
We may find now that the US and UK are sizeably larger, and exclusively scandalous tragedies.
8
It's not going to save us from climate & biodiversity collapse in the space of 9 years, or the lack of determination of how to plan our economies, is it?
7
Don't forget all of that "Rolling Coal" diesel plumes.
5
Fewer tress, higher commodity price
4
A very Brit way to think or say.
4
It's capitalising on a desperate human need. Isn't that the free world your forefathers fought bloodily for?
4
Don't get trapped in tit for tat counter propaganda. You should know the missiles in Cuba were a response to US missiles installed in Turkey in the late 50s. For god's sake, pull your head out of your hole.
4
Thad Dunkin You'd be right on that assertion, but also what kind of plantation has over 3000 global military bases and helped enriched itself monetarily and strategically off the loans given to post-WWII Europe?
3
I guess BLM groups getting involved with registering thousands of ll people throughout the summer didn't make a mentionable impact with this impression from VICE?
3
Capitalism says no
3
You're not doing too well yourselves over the past few years. You're a US colony, aren't Yee?
3
Was there any CIA supervision in the making of this video?
3
It's "the game" so to speak. They have the banks ready to cut their heads off with debts and court cases. The Only Alternative is to keep the bloodline pumping from renters, to landlords, to private bankers.

That's brexit

2
"Mental Environmentalists" have been callin this bs out for over a decade, having the media to paint them as pathetically as they wished, and now we're thanking VICE for a video that we will forget about later?

If Donald shat in a river, would the maga-fans worship it like the Ganga?

@mwirth187 IMF, Marshall plan, and of course don't forget that by 1948 the UK borrowed from the US until it's GDP to debt ratio was 270%, relinquishing the British Empire's day in the sun. 3000 does sound but isn't far fetched, it's 800 "army bases", but it is not if one concludes all bases, runways and camps it has inalienable access to and US boots on the ground. Shannon Airport is a prime example, technically not a US army air base, but was in a diplomatic guarantee to refuel drones, bombers and shuttling of George Bush's waterboarded political prisoners throughout.

@zec4367 guns down, Zec You think a right-winger would recognise that the BLM movement helped raise voter turn ou

It doesn't mean he has any certainty of having the votes he needs, crucually from the white high school educated populous under 45 years old.

@satheesh3436 We know where they're all gonna put all those thumbs down in
1
Sad for us, the nihilists in charge (and in the comments) are naieve enough to embroil nihilistically. Calling us "kids" for demanding pollution, habitat and climate responsibility.

VICE really tarnishing its independent journalism reputation.

Colouring in states isn't even the first step to resolving real issues. The working (and middle) class needs and must need to be in deliberation and dialogue with your gov't. Capitalist lobbies can't and should not
