  2. It is bs, but many MANY are conditioned to buy the game day one. That is what the gaming culture has manipulated many into to where it's standard. Be the first to get it, beat it and brag. It's been this way for over a decade now. The executives have gamers eating out of their hands despite how much they complain, they still will buy the games and spend extra. That's the sad truth of it. Puppet consumers.

  6.  @kyotheman69  Easily, people hype up games just because they know a certain studio is releasing it lol! Months if not a year or more in advance (FF VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3, Rockstar Games, ect.) It's mainly what people do and what marketing draws people into doing.

There's a reason things are going digital and for every publisher and developer, they'll be locking people into a payment plan or increasing the price. We have the illusion of value and choice until things change on that front because they can manipulate the only options left. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are companies. They all follow in their own time, but none are our friends but many scramble to pick whoever looks friendliest and gives them small hope. It's amazing how religion is seen as primitive when our very nature is to herd under something/someone.

  12. A program photobashing previously existing artwork won't be a threat anytime soon. Maybe illustrators or concept artists won't get jobs, but that won't happen until the AI does original art and actual artist doesn't spot their work and sue. I don't believe anything done by it can be copyrighted for this reason. And honestly, only those that can't make art will think it's great until it needs to be critiqued professionally. On art sites you don't see it getting attention as it's pretty easy to spot as it does interpretation, nothing exact. AI will never get to movie level, ironic as people believe this yet reject conspiracy theories happening right in front of them.

  13. Make the games huge, offer the illusion of endless choices and huge, empty space, but never make sure the game is bug free. Instead of trying to sell spectacle, sell a polished game, this is the laziest era in gaming I've ever witnessed. They can't keep saying it's the companies doing this when devs promote how big the game is too and how exciting it is, but never mention the issues with the game. It's a broken system.

  14. Those are weird additions, but believe me. Those won't be advantages for long if you've played FromSoftware games. In fact, I think those people will be getting ripped off after start of the game. Only thing I'd question is the weapon. It could be cosmetic or have a unique stat. Remember though, it's bizarre because FromSoftware isn't doing the remake.

  15. To be fair, none of Resident Evil cares about the lore. Capcom is never known for their storytelling. The best they've done was the RPG series, Breath of Fire, and that hasn't been around since they killed it with labelling a random mobile game with the title.

  16. No, they really don't play games. There is a psychological correlation between what you behold and how you think. That's basic psychology. People said you can't be addicted to gaming, turns out it's true. Doesn't mean all gamers, it means those mentally more fragile/unstable may be influenced. Just because one plays games doesn't mean you have to defend it completely, not everyone doing it is the same and no, it's not the only factor. An influencing one, however. Charismatic churches pushed Pokemon was Satanic, not the whole Christian community. They don't think much of videogames in matters of faith unless educational, but extremists got the limelight. Gaming does have a lot of bums lol! Goes back to being addicted. It's all some want to do and I know a number of them myself. Don't fall into the trap of the media picking minute cases and trying to make them more than what they are just because they might agree with personal view. It's always been exaggerated and the true facts seldom given.

Either pull a Solid Snake and use a cardboard box or something like a hazmat suit If it is going by closest approximation to humanoid figure, well...that might require seeing just what it can identify with barriers.   20.  @lilbladeknight  I don't even factor in that stupidity lol! I'll watch a clip of a game to see the mechanics and gameplay and that's it. I'll watch a no commentary playthrough for certain games, yet I will never understanding watching others play as a...thing. People (or youth) are such drones now they'll zombie out watching someone talk the entire game, but I feel it's more to feel like they are a part of something rather than care about the game. Our psychology in society is ripe to be uprooted at any time.

  25.  @lilbladeknight  I don't watch South Park, but they typically make shows about what is obvious yet no one wants to think about until put in front of you. It and other shows have also made...predictions, so there is more to it than just being aware. For as many that say they believe in evolution, they should have stopped the retardation of mankind. This only leads me to believe these "great minds" wanted this because the results of modern society depending and being pampered with luxury tech was clear. Most will only play games that are casual or require little more than good reflexes. Many can't read nor want to think critically. I've experienced this to a degree after playing casual games compared to strategy or games with text. It's bizarre. Many young people I know are the way you describe or them and those in their twenties show the same traits; my ex was definitely a victim because she rather watch games and said she hated to think or had difficulty thinking critically...that kind of closes a lot of roads lol

There is a Bible verse, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" Doing kindness to your own means nothing, that's personal if not selfish, if your actions are wrong outside of that. There is no such thing as order with negative consequences, that's oppression or subjugation. Order is applied to all, not some, otherwise if you've wrought chaos outside your gates, that's not true order. My bedroom is clean (but the trash is out in the hallway).

  29. Denuvo really hurts my reasons for giving it a try. After so long the game should be playable at 60fps, 40fps if they were to be truly slacking, but not barely at 30. No dev can explain why this is a thing, but the usual culprit is them having Denuvo in the game and they never mention it. Waiting a year until they remove it and on discount makes more sense, especially when all of the issues will be gone. Buying games day one is truly something only Youtubers/streamers do and/or people with FOMO.

  30.  @hi-sm6dx  The content creators weren't smart for putting their eggs in one basket. Everyone in business and investment knows this. If you hang onto money and not principle, however difficult that choice may be, then welcome to those that sell out for a pyacheck. If no top creators can pool together to crate another platform or want to, then how important is the content creation? The choice is submit or die, essentially. but the vast majority of people are too lazy and too concerned with conformity and comfort to deal with big changes. These people will suffer the most because they waited til the last minute.

  31. No artist takes another person's art and reconfigures it in parts to create something new. Fanart should be the most simple example of people doing the same thing, but their own way. They are not stealing data and regurgitating it, which AI does. It can' think and re-apply a concept, it reconfigures someone else's work, work that likely has copyright. If copyright in the US has already acknowledged this and prevents ownership of AI and AI companies acknowledge they scrapped the data, it is in no way shape or form akin to how artist's learn.

  34. More and more prefer to watch people play games for them. We are extremely lazy and wonder why we have so much free-time to lament life, create drama. This will be the future for the next generation. Not to mention avoiding difficult games, because most avoid anything difficult like the plague. And there are longplays with no commentary, because some find personalities annoying while trying to experience the game. Games I think people wouldn't play but rather watch (near all first-person), but most pay attention to chats in Let's Plays because no friends, talking smack.

  37. Doing damage control, but a little too late. Of course you will have those that will stick their head in the sand because they don't want to know certain things that shatter their comfort zone. That has always been the majority of people. Very few fight for freedom and many have to be pushed/motivated/bribed into it. However, if no one bothered to research or know of this before, they will now. No one is going to trust a game journalist magazine with a poor reputation among its audience besides those few of the same ideology. Their only leverage is the shared ideology with the machine pushing the agenda. If they honestly think they ill benefit in the new order they think is coming, well...the devil has no friends. The very things that lured you in will be used against you in the end.

  43.  @papabones8753  Asians seem to focus on the two extremes of denying their ancestry, getting surgery and only associating with only certain groups, or this rarer one (at least for me) of feeling left out and thinking genetics is the same thing as culture. The inbetween typically grow up with Asian culture and can speak on it. I was somewhat surprised this person 1) though being Japanese meant they grew up in Japan and studied their history to speak on it and 2) Would admittedly show ignorance in one area and not thinking anyone might conclude they'd demonstrate it elsewhere.

There are certain features that can quicken a process, but the artist still has to do the work even with framework in place. Not even the same thing as art being taken and regurgitated in a different from, art likely with a copyright, that no artist can or will use without getting sued.

  45. Why are those the only two games people can think of? Elden Ring release with issues and BG3's third act was buggy. One released when it was supposed to and the other was an early access game. How is BG3 remotely similar when if it was released like normal games, it would have released in horrid condition or been delayed.

Because if they were able to confirm it was looping, they'd have to admit it was recording and not just counting heads. I don't know anyone that would sign up for something like this other than people that only sit around and watch movies.

People are going on hype, not them doing anything or adding to. If it's going to heavily scrutinized here on and Nintendo is involved, it may well be a case of he takes the money and drops the game later.
