  7. This was the first european car that actually GAINED power in US. SPec. Government says 478hp @ 7,000 , 425 lb-ft...but magazines got high 11s< 12.1@122 mph and said it actually made about 500hp.

But with the V6...Performance is lacking like an OVER-priced FERRARI Street Model. And that's what the Ford fanboys are missing. A Less powerful ACR Viper would easily out run it on the track if it had a DCT transmission...maybe even the 100 more horses 750hp ZR-1.

Only Fast Fords have said SVT or Shelby..EVER few years has a "regular Production ford GT" out performed a Camaro.

  23. Biggest Issue was the WEAK GM 6.5L GM diesel. If it had a Cummins....would have been GOLD;-) Not even Mercedes could touch Cummins when it came to Diesel power/reliability.

  27.  @joyceblackmon1745  Actually it takes a Brand with the BALLS to build it. Mopar has ALWAYS had the BIGGEST BALLS....Chevy always had the Smallest of the US brands. Old early 60's Mopars were BUTT-ugly but would shit on a ford or chevy... Which is why I'm a fan...even though I've owned Camaros and worked for FORD.

Cost more Heavier Slower to 60 slower in the 1/4 mile * quicker in standing 1/2 mile* Lower top speed FYI, I was a Factory Certified Tech...SO I KNOW how had or Good they are. Still talk to Tech buddies that are still their and they let me know the TRUTH of newer ones. Even the Famed Foxbody's weren't that Great(had issues like handling like Sh*t). The last gen and before F-series Pickups are even more of a Joke.

  31. YessBMX, The Zr-1 is MORE than a Match for the Ford GT...FACT! 0-60 and quarter mile the Zr-1 is quicker. Actually the Z06 automatic within 1 car length. The Ford GT does have a "Claimed" top speed of 216 vs. Video verified of 212mph for the Zr-1. The Zr-1 already beat the Ford GT on the track at VIR and ran almost Identical 1:23.69 vs. 1:23.70 time at Willow. $450k vs. $120k...Zr-1 wins there.

T/A 2.0 must have been to much for too little $$$ as Motor trend were too much of little B*tches to test one. ACR ( SHIT !!! ) on the same power/sAME hp/ SAME TRACK TIRE competition from corvette.   38. 9:08 174mph??? NOT in the USA. All are limited, F80 is limited to 163mph...like it's Big brother the M5. Biggest Problem is BMW Got Greedy Like Nissan did with the R35, And it takes an $88k Competition packaged M3 to "just be competitive" with a Cadillac ATS-V that costs $10k+ less...that also has a 20+ mph higher top speed.

  39. Not true.... Ram has been steadily increasing their % of the market. While the last few year Fords been dropping % wise. And even though the Challenger is still using the OLD Mercedes based chassis (when they owned Dodge) It's still selling well...even Beating the Mustang sales in certain months. Chevy is the one in trouble. Also Fords Pride and Joy (Mustang) dropped 22.7% in 2016<2017. Atleast Ford got rid of those PowerJoke 6.0/6.4L diesel and their weakass Frames...Can send you links if YOU want to learn about your Beloved Ford. FYI I'm a Ford Certified Mechanic...even the Foxbodys had alot of issues.

  49. Mopar all the way. Fastest ever back in the 1960s. V6 Intrepids out ran Capris and Crown vics in the 1990's. 5.9 R/t Durango out performed tahoes and explorers. Only exception was the 5.0 LX Foxbody...but again that was probably because Dodge didn't have a Challenger at the time;-)
