Chinese, Romanian, born in Canada, British citizen. I see three different passport opportunities for her there.

I fear that this Afghanistan debacle will now stop the Tories from passing the nationality and borders bill...

The tories can raise tax if they can show that they are being fiscally prudent. Because people won't accept a cut in spending. A conservative is supposed to have a degree of pragmatism.
7
@thegrandmuftiofwakanda This is a news channel, not a podcast. Maybe Farage needs a podcast.
7
Stop calling it an insurrection. There was no attempt or ability to overthrow a government. It was a "storming" of the capitol building and at most a riot.
7
"Why don't foreigners follow our rules when they come here?" Well, maybe everyone should follow the rules of other sovereign countries when they travel there.
7
All paths to public funds for illegal entrants should be closed. They should be sent to a detention centre from where they should not be released until they own up to what their nationality is. Then they should be given a choice to complete the asylum process OR voluntarily be deported back. But stay in the detention centre the whole time.
7
When your ideology is Islamism, you have all the time in the world. It's a long term goal that cannot be fazed.
7
He didn't explicitly state he supports India but it is natural he does. That doesn't mean that he wishes bad things upon England though.
7
Rwanda is actually a ray of light in Africa. But if you want to see darkness, look no further than its neighbour, Burundi. They are the same people but very different politics and politicians.
7
@AlpeshPatel1 Happens all too often in these situations. I wish it weren't a pattern but it is. However, you were somewhat diplomatic but did put the point across. Although I felt that there was a little more resistance from Nigel to what you were saying compared to what the Imam said.

West Yorkshire also.
6
@rufusreloaded1043 The usual argument given to push people away from their patriotism.
6
Rather have Rishi in charge than Bumbling Boris!
6
No. He should resign. That's the right thing to do. A vote of confidence will damage the party and their ability to govern properly. The whole thing isn't necessarily rotten. It's Boris and he should go.
6
Immigration lawyers exist to thwart the immigration system and try by hook and crook to help their clients to stay whether their case is worthy or not.
6
WHAT THE FUCK WAS BORIS ACTUALLY DOING TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENCE!??
6
This is what happens when you turn a public good into an infallible cult.
5
@slopernafti902 Punjabis aren't the only Hindus.
5
Margaret Thatcher should be celebrated but there's no need to wind people up on the topic of mine closures which is still sensitive for people.
5
Why do girls put on such horrid makeup!
5
LOL, dismissing a perfectly good candidate over pettiness and weird loyalty to a prime minister who was not even delivering the conservative agenda.
5
I believe that Australia is less white than the UK but Australia barely has any non-white members of parliament. The whites, especially the Anglos are very much running the show there. Not that I have a problem but this is just a statement of fact. In fact, I believe Anthony Albanese was the first non Anglo-Celtic PM in Australia's history. So that shows that Britain has more tolerance baked into society.
5
If Daniel Craig does not want to leave an inheritance, that's his choice and this is the main point. It should be a choice. He should be free to choose to donate to government coffers or to charities of his choice or leave an inheritance to his family if he changes his mind.
5
Voters in Wales seem to think it was alright. That's why he came back.
5
Capping someone's income is immoral. I don't care whether the public thinks people ought to earn less just because they think that bonuses are too high.
5
Why would Alpesh Patel be gutted about Pakistan losing to England anyway. There's not an Hindu Indian in the world who'd ever support Pakistan over England
5
When did India ask for an open door immigration policy? I am against India asking for visas in a free trade deal but saying that India wanted an open door is purely disingenuous. They wanted more work visas and student visas.
5
When is the government going to pass the borders bill, the police and sentencing bill etc. How long will it take?
5
People seem to think that the use of the word cower implies that somehow they are being called cowards.
4
Some do, not all. And even this is going through gradual change.
4
This, if true, is truly depressing...
4
Rishi Sunak supported Brexit but this channel and its viewers aren't going to give him credit for that. Instead they'll just bang on about him being a backstabbing Judas.
4
The UK gives India 55 million pounds. You think India needs or wants it? In fact, if you read the fine print, much of it is classified as an investment and some is given to buy influence.
4
This channel was busy saying Never Rishi Sunak and calling him Judas. Well, here you go.
4
This was not racist, people have gone mad. However to your point, the word curry can be used as a taunt if you call someone a "curry muncher".
4
Self censorship is what is going on in Hong Kong as well. People have no clue how and what laws are going to be used to attack what they say as none of these new laws have been tested in court and so, they would rather shut up than test out what the courts are going to do with them.
4
The main issue is that given their work for the British, their lives become imminently dangerous. If left behind, their enemies could kill them.
4
Let's see if we can get a good mix of voices. So far we've had a few people from opposite points of view. Would be good to see if today's labour establishment will show up.
4
Wow, GB News is really putting the western propaganda out there isn't it. Russia cannot lose, come on...
4
Don't underestimate American voters' ability to forget and vote for Biden again in Trump derangement.
4
@rob338 I do think Tories showed complacency once again. Campaign was too muted and seemed like it was going to be a walkover.
4
11:15 It's funny Stanley Johnson says that. The Brits haven't been apologising to colonies for colonialism. But it's okay. Frankly, everyone needs to get over it. It's over and everything that goes on now is on us. This apologising business is endless.
4
When are we going to actually see some of these measures passed rather than just tabled? Is an 80 seat majority for nothing?
4
Ibn ʿAbdulaziz Codswallop
4
Wow, what an original view. How are you going to do it?
4
Why did Mike DeWine outperform so much as well?
4
@vincentblack7467 She's Sikh not Hindu
4
Do you think there's really anything governments can't control if they really want to? Remember, they have armies and police and the power of law making.
4
@stevenpaddybwoy Well despite the background, she's picked the UK to represent, that's surely not something to scoff at?
