@mariogmajner6549 I don't know what the reason for that is but people like and appreciate their many roots but she's chosen to represent Britain right? Why complain about that.

The interviewer is looking nervous.

I'm pro-choice but very grudgingly so. It's just not a decision I think the state can make. Although I absolutely would encourage people to be more responsible with their lives, but perhaps such an encouragement may fall on deaf ears.
3
@run2cat4run What was the way out? The West has demanded only its way. What have they given to Putin as a concession?
3
They don't necessarily hate the British more than they hate the British or Americans trying to tell Indians how to run their country.
3
The Welsh and the Scots are the British as well... I don't think a lot of Americans get this.
3
There are some decent replacements within the Tories. Ask yourself honestly. Did Boris ever give you a feeling of competence? He was a means to an end, which was to get Brexit.
3
@Saddamuel It's a public good, sure. It's a good thing to provide affordable healthcare if your country can afford it. The only problem here is the sense of entitlement, cult like treatment of it and social taboo regarding questioning the NHS.
3
Everyone's happy about increasing housing supply right up until it is their town or village where all the new houses are to be built.
3
It seems to me that the French have no incentive to help the British on this matter. What can be done to change that?
3
This is a very common feature on Indian debates which are shout matches. So the anchors regularly turn off the mics of various guests to let others speak.
3
Priti Patel also drops the "g" at the end of words like "appalling".
3
Update: He apologised and now he says he will kneel. He couldn't handle the immense pressure and the realisation that his South Africa career would be completely over. I feel for the man, pretty tough spot. This is why financial independence is very important in life. You need "F U" money.
3
You know there's something called a parliament. Things don't just happen by decree.
3
Scouse accents may as well be foreign!
3
India is a net GIVER of aid. It doesn't need Britain's aid. As it is that aid is not paid to the Indian exchequer. So please stop giving it and stop taunting India over 55m quid of aid when its budget is 394b quid.
3
Because governments had low spending.
3
I thought Labour MPs boycott GB News?
3
Even Rishi would be better than Boris.
3
@scaffman6681 They've tabled the bills. Let them go through the process of passing it. If they don't you can vote for someone else.
3
@aclark903 That is very likely as well a factor. I suspect that the seat could potentially flip to the Tories in a general but it would really depend a lot on where Muslim votes fall at that time as well.
3
Yet all these Hongkongers are showing up in the UK with hope
3
Would have hoped that Nissan would choose another area as they already have a plant in Sunderland.
3
@leonardgibney2997 But the "human rights are universal" crowd will cry foul!
3
@jimmyhughes5392 Sure, he'd be an interesting addition to parliament. He's been in parliament many times though so he's not exactly new. He's been an MP from 1987-2010 and then from 2012-2015.
3
Death penalty for open and shut cases where the person is caught red handed or if the evidence is beyond any doubt not just reasonable but any doubt at all.
3
Voters know that they aren't going to wreck Johnson's majority. Therefore, they can safely register their protest to send a clear message of dissatisfaction. That's what's going on. It's not really about Brexit. Time for Boris to go.
3
Hongkongers coming to the UK are laughing about these alleged "high" prices. It's absolutely bonkers there.
3
He's about to capitulate to Russia. His statements are showing it already.
3
A lot of people are being fed false hope that Ukraine is magically going to win.
3
Under the present framework, there's no solution to this. You have to admit this first.
3
The dude on the right has taken drugs but doesn't think it is smart to admit it on TV.
3
If he's talking about Hong Kong, apart from "national security" matters, it is independent but in "national security" matters, it is not. We should have some proportion when we discuss things.
3
See what is happening with Billie Eilish... All over lyrics of a song.

23:35 Is that Nigel Farage?
2
It's Doyle's free speech to say that Ben and Jerry's should shut up. Doyle is not legally mandating them to shut up. That's the difference. He's criticising their speech, which is his free speech. Additionally, if people choose not to eat Ben and Jerry's, that's their free speech and free agency too.

@beebee404 The Irish language isn't even that important to people living in Ireland apart from naming things in Irish just for token Irish identity. Most Irish people can't speak Irish but will call their PM "Taoiseach". And I'm not suggesting that Urdu should be recognised either. Go put Irish on all the signs. Waste of time, money and space as no one reads it, including the heads of Sinn Fein.
2
Drinking alcohol in general is not a great thing for you in the long run but of course the right to make a choice should belong to all adults.
2
@AOK342 Exactly, I don't think a lot of people commenting here realize what kinds of difficulty present laws and structures present to Priti Patel. She seems to want to change it. Shouldn't we wait for the change to happen and see?
2
Did you see the resignation letter? It's Boris' policies and Rishi Sunak has had to sign off on Boris' policies grudgingly.
2
Women seem to show more support than men. I guess they don't want to win or have any records for the sake of the sisterhood and sorority!
2
lol people keep saying such nonsense.
2
Absolutely sick to bring this man onto the show. And he is not Kashmiri. Ask him if him, his parents or his grandparents ever spoke a word of Kashmiri. Kashmiris are people who are of a Kashmiri speaking background from the Vale of Kashmir.
2
@petercollins7848 Older folks are encouraging this behaviour in future generations. Older people also need to take responsibility for the kind of kids and generation they raised.
2
@randlemcmurphy4983 I'm not a fan of hijabs. Just saying this for accuracy. But there are some nice places to visit in the Middle East. I would say it is a matter of priorities. If you go on very few holidays in your life, then maybe it is not the priority destination but if you have been to many places, then you could visit the UAE, Oman, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon (once it calms down) and Turkey.
2
American presidents don't resign. It doesn't work the same as it does in a Westminster system. Nixon only resigned because they were going to impeach him.
2
No. When a tax exists, it can and will always be adjusted.
2
Way above Alex's pay grade.
2
@MsElke11 Paradox of being a bit too smart, no?
2
@captainbuggernut9565 You only get to choose from choices. The Monster Raving Loony Party cannot choose the PM.
