  4.  @NaNa-kj2gw The wedding rings don’t need to cost a fortune and are no where near as expensive as any of these bride prices in most cases. The most expensive wedding rings that I ever saw were around $10,000 which is a lot lower than any of these ridiculous bride prices.

  10. This groom is so clever and his song is perfect! All grooms should use this song to defend themselves. What is the deal with this dowry stuff? It is so old fashioned and outdated. Women should feel lucky to find a guy who is willing to marry them but yet they act like this. Who do they think they are? The women and their families need to make their own money instead of milking the groom and his family like this. Luckily, all of this stuff stopped in my family a long time ago. All guys and their families need to steer clear of women like this. A marriage that is based on money and materialistic stuff will never be everlasting or blissful at all. My family’s only requirement is that my husband and I love each other and build our lives together. What is up with these bride prices? So ridiculous!

  11. There is nothing wrong with staying single regardless of gender, but I find it more beneficial for Chinese men since the women are so greedy. Marriage and kids is not everything. Marriage is one thing but is it everlasting and blissful is another thing.

  20. I don’t really agree because it is fine to have dreams as long as they are realistic. Just because he was in debt now means that he will be in debt later on and can’t fulfill his dreams. Life is unpredictable. These women were bad for mocking him for having a dream.

  22. I feel bad for you and as a woman myself, I hate women like that too. I am glad my parents raised me well so I am nothing like that. True love is priceless and all of those materialistic things become so excess. I also don’t wear makeup so my man does not need to worry about that. I like to buy things myself.
