@1-501Infantry Ryan showed his research so at this point his video is much more credible then your comment. If you care to break it down like he did and make an opposing point, I'd be happy to watch your video.

Same thing happened when a course was proposed that would teach constitutional rights to the cops... 🤔

Two additional good reasons to fly drones at night: 1 Less air traffic to worry about 2 fewer people on the ground to bother the remote pilot and fewer people/moving vehicles on the ground that the RP has to avoid flying directly over.
25
@realfoggy This is not classified info. We can even follow those aircraft on flight radar 24.
23
@michaelshrader5139 Actually just because we can do some things does mean that we should do them, otherwise we will lose the right to do them. The people who are uncomfortable at the sight of a gun need to get used to it. Their feeling don't preempt the rights of others
20
It's being hidden because we don't need to know. Now the East Coast knows what it was like to live in Nevada when the F117 was being tested 🤣
17
@alexanderg-p3z Sabrina's statement was very carefully worded for the government to have plausible deniability. They may not be US military drones that doesn't mean that they aren't defense contractor drones working in partnership with the US military.
17
The Amazon drones should occasionally drop some treats for the cattle. The cattle will quickly learn that the sound of drones is a positive thing.
16
Every specialized area of interest has its own terminology. Most of us wouldn't understand a conversation between doctors, engineers, biologist, other specialists...or lawyers.
12
@johnmarine44 When people are doing things mistakes are made regardless of the consequences. People make mistakes every day of the week and get killed in car accidents. Occasionally engineers make mistakes leading to the collapse of bridges, cranes and other things. A person trying to enter a long sequence of numbers under pressure and maybe fatigued could very easily screw it up, regardless of how expensive the missile is and how few they have.

@jerrell1169 You don't know what you're talking about. The airspace is open until the FAA closes it. That fire chief has no authority to regulate the airspace. There are vast areas of the disaster area that did not receive any government assistance for a long time, and still may not have. If some guy with the helicopter or drone is able and willing to help out, there's no legal reason they cannot do that. The illegal reason they can't do it is out of control egomaniacs in the government, such as that fire chief.
11
Didn't even bother to raise the gear. Typical "lazy navy" LOL
9
It wasn't fema who threatened to arrest that guy it was a local fire chief who thought that he somehow had FAA power to close the airspace. He does not have that power he can only call the FAA and request a TFR. I don't know that guy but he seems like the typical power hungry egomaniac with a little bit of authority that goes way overboard.
8
@OutsiderLabs "Without clearance"? What clearance are you talking about? Authorization is only required in controlled airspace. This incident happened in class G, uncontrolled airspace and there was no TFR issued by the FAA at the time.
8
Yes some are designed to float. Amphibious landings have been done for a long time. The question is, are Russian amphibious vehicles MAINTAINED to float?
7
Mainstream media? LOL 🤣🤣🤣
7
I saw a documentary on that. I was shocked that the general population is basically oblivious to the threat. How can they not really be interested at all when they're island is blockaded half of the time and missiles are flying overhead the other half? Reminds me of Europe and the Russian threat. How are some of those countries not paying their fair share into NATO and taking the situation seriously? Do these people really not care about their sovereignty and everything else that they would lose if attacked? Do they just think the US will take care of everything for them? 🤯
7
I have to disagree with Ryan that we in the US don't know how to make stuff anymore. We make very good military stuff, aviation stuff, automotive stuff and machine tooling stuff. We can make stuff, The biggest problem is that our standard of living is higher than a lot of other places so the workers need to make a lot more money and the product ends up costing a lot more. Like the OP said we also have a shortage of people and the illegal immigrants are allowed to legally work. The insufficient workforce also makes prices go up. It would be practical to do much more manufacturing in the US if the idiots in Washington would create a secure border and a legal way for more visiting workers to come here. Have you heard the talk about our social security system being in peril? Are you aware that the biggest vulnerability of many countries is a diminishing birth rate? A consistent or declining population causes a lot of problems and is a is a big factor in the US inability to manufacture more things. Without immigration our problems would be far greater and will be greater unless our electric idiots start doing things differently.
7
The salinity of the water and other characteristics must also play a large part...
6
The crew of Marines sent one man inside to make the request. When he returned, he explained the denial... "The way I understand their response, they said we have to do it the hard way"
6
We've had that happen too. We call it the Clinton Foundation...
6
Hearing the doctor say that Putin doesn't publicly boast and acts as a statesman reminds me of those shirtless pictures he's taken on horseback and fishing LOL One of our candidates in the US did something similar recently. I commented that he's trying to act like Putin and that's probably not a good way to get elected...
6
The number, composition and disposition of aircraft on board is always changing. The "about this many" number is public information. It's unlikely that Ryan had access and interest in counting the aircraft on board at the time. He probably gave us the wiki number or what they told him. They wouldn't tell a YouTuber something that they didn't want repeated (unless they told him not to repeat it).
6
Ukraine attacked with 10 Storm Shadows? That's a Russian report. I wish Ryan would include a disclaimer saying that the claim of 10 storm Shadows is not an accepted fact. May very well have been five decoys or any other configuration.
5
Did you guys see the similar video made by the girl who left the US for Russia? https://youtu.be/Xk3Mov9fUaM?si=kfxZayLt6TDpBOfu If you go to her page, the previous video explains why she left the US and thinks that Russia is so wonderful. it'll make your head explode.
5
@asylumacresgaming1112 Also here in the US, it's not uncommon to see a news story about some dumbass fell through the ice with his pickup truck. The last one I saw said that the guy got out of his truck but his dog died in the lake :-(
5
@SoDamnMetal Committing a crime or not is irrelevant. All that matters is whether or not somebody is convicted. Lots and lots of innocent people have gone to jail and prison.
5
@brandspro Required by who or what and who has the authority to enforce it? When the federal government has determined that we don't need to know, that's the end of it. Now the rest of us are learning what it's like to live in Nevada near where top secret experimental aircraft or developed 🤣
5
Based on your description it sounds like they have actually been for the war in Ukraine, and the only thing they oppose is Ukraine's defense.
5
Forget about the USA. We'll be busy worrying about escalation.
4
I agree 100% I don't have a good answer on why anybody would buy American for anything that's really important.
4
Only the airframe design is 50 years old. All the other important stuff has been continuously upgraded.
4
Yeah I noticed that too and made a similar comment. Looks like they flew all the way up past Atlantic City before turning westbound, flying over Warren Grove and the rest of the pine barrens rather than populated areas.
4
Early this morning I made the same reference to the Doolittle raid half expecting to be ridiculed by most people. Now that I have this in common with Mr Macbeth I don't care what the others say 🙂. To be completely honest though I feel that destroying a few of those bombers is actually helpful towards Ukraine's defense. Those planes have been launching missiles at Ukraine so damaging a few, 5 or 10% of the fleet is a good thing
4
@flaccidactyl804 But if they take it off the tube then they don't have the tripod... I don't think they're carrying a bunch but I do think they probably bring one with them to get started. As they use more they probably discard all but 1. If the optic is designed to be used separately why do they have to jury rig batteries to it. If it were designed to be used that way wouldn't there be an easy battery connection and separate batteries available for that?
3
You saw that? I'm envious! I'm close enough that I could have seen it I just didn't know to look over there at the time 💔
3
Trucks as WMD has been a thing for decades. As people have then hysterical about the threat of drones over the last couple years I've been reminding them that every pressure cooker, garbage can, backpack, mailbox, package on their porch and vehicle on the road could be an explosion waiting to happen... orders of magnitude greater than the consumer drone that they're worried about. On top of that, it's very easy to turn a light airplane into a drone with a very large explosive payload. Those same aircraft can also easily be rigged to drop anything in large quantities. Think of a crop duster or even just dumping a tank of whatever, anywhere the pilot wants to. Maybe we should just ban everything, right?
3
Change isn't always for the better. Sometimes people who resist it keep us safer, better, happier, etc.
3
...and I duplicated your comment before I saw it LOL. Ryan should have included a disclaimer that it's a Russian report of 10 storm Shadow's being used. Then we would all know that the report is likely BS...
3
Ryan's shock and awe at the ridiculously low quality journalism is unfounded. Clearly, breaking points is not a journalism organization. It is a propaganda organization. Having Ryan as a guest would not improve the quality of their work it would undermine their work.
3
How does it cost that much to arrest somebody? Aren't all the LEO's already on the payroll?
3
@catc8927 Thanks for explaining but it seems like kind of a strange Outlook. the people that live there are on the island because the Communists basically chased them there. That's where they escaped to. If the Communists did that why wouldn't they invade the island? Maybe because I haven't lived in that culture I'll never understand, I don't know. The United States last fought for its sovereignty over 200 years ago but we haven't forgotten the lesson. we learned it so well we've been fighting for other nation's sovereignty ever since, while not being under any threat of invasion ourselves.
3
I totally forgot to mention technology. People want Nvidia and Intel because they are to of the line. We design and manufacturer the best chips. We don't manufacture a lot of them and we are currently increasing that capacity but we do know how to do it
3
Drones and missiles don't fly in a straight line from lauch to the target. Look at the illustrations of the Russian air attacks on Ukraine. They kind of look like a bowl of spaghetti because the weapons fly all over the place to avoid air defense.
2
@lamlam2750 California and just off the coast of California as well. The war zone has a article on it but unfortunately if I post the link to big brother will delete my comment...
2
That's a typical Monday for Ryan LOL

I don't disagree with Ryan's idea that the dam failed due to neglect. At the same time I don't agree that Russia probably didn't blow it up because it didn't make sense for them to do so. Since the beginning of this thing the Russian outlook on everything has been "if we can't have it nobody can". for example just look at any pile of rubble that used to be a city. If it wouldn't directly help the Ukrainian war effort to blow up the dam why would the Russians do it? Because it does help them indirectly by taking up Ukrainian resources. It also helps them the same way it helps them to blow up civilian power plants. Something like this is right in the Russians terrorism play book. Why didn't they remove all of their personnel from the flood plain first? To maintain plausible deniability and because they don't care about people in general, not even their own people. I think it's been documented that the Russians did fill the powerhouse with explosives. For me I think it's a 50-50 toss-up whether they failed the dam with explosives or with neglegence.
2
@josecarlosamador Thanks! Obrigado! Eu vou lavar o piso!
2
@dbraun355 Yep, that too. Politicians are all scum. Trump wasn't a politician at that time but he was well on his way...
2
The dummy should have waited till he was out, to make that video.
