I do not fancy the way mum went - virtually no quality of life for the last 10 plus years of her life. I based on my family's Male predecessors, I have around 6 years left which I will make the most of.

  20. The problem with saying that something is immoral is that what is perfectly legal and moral to one person is not to another. Just think about the Taliban or closer to home, the vile threats and insults made by the animal rights lot against decent law abiding people just because they consider something totally legal and "normal" is immoral.

Go back to the point which the alarmists use as a datum for global warming and you find that the world was going through a so called mini ice age. Crops were failing due to prolonged periods of cold and wet weather across Europe.

  48. In real terms, how much are we talking about per person in the UK UK? Remember, it is the rich who pay far more tax than ordinary people and many "ordinary " people pay hardly any tax if they do at all. Then there are the huge number on benefits who get everything for free.
