  2. you would be insane not to want a nuclear bomb capacity for iran. it is the best security against usa invasion. look at israel - they would just be a page in history book if they didn't have the bomb. of course, they have little to fear from usa, but many others in the neighborhood hate them.

  3. revising figures is not proof of evil intent, is rather the result of being able to assemble data previously held in dispersed locations, especially of people who died not in hospital. figures will go up everywhere as temporarily overwhelmed hospitals bring conditions under control.

  6. so russia blew up its multi-billion dollar pipeline, when it could just turn off the tap, and preserve chances of income later? that kind of argument would raise questions of sanity in those making it, except there is no sane argument for russia to do this. usa, ontoh, has an excellent.reason, bang! -presto! and germany is locked in to usa heating oil. perhaps from saudi at exorbitant prices. but not any more, from russia. so start with that opinion. if yer sane. the interesting part, is how germany feels about this. they have been loyal, sung the nato song, and now they are going to be very cold. how can any national politician be comfortable about german policy being made by terrorist bombs? and they are terrorist bombs, even if planted by cia agents.

  7. this is the south korean variety of fascism. makes north korea look just a tiny bit more respectable. and of course, they learned this oriental variety from the japanese zaibatsu. similar things are going on in usa, it was created to be ruled by wealth, the big money of the day was slave plantations, and 'amazon' is doing its best the recreate those conditions in modern life. i don't know why homer sap doesn't demand democracy, but if we continue to let the elite rule, they will destroy the planet.

  8. it turns out that elite rule doesn't guarantee effective rule. should surprise no one, but homo sapiens doesn't really exhibit any great intellectual power. only just enough to deal with tigers. we need democracy, and sufficient socialism to create a good life for all, and educate everyone to their capacity. then we would be homo sapiens, in truth. but progress is slow, perhaps non-existent. still, it should be clear to the dimmest, that giving control of the nation to politicians is suicidal.

  11. they aren't really rare, just thinly dispersed. so cheap labor has been necessary for profitable mining. india has cheap labor, china, increasingly, does not. so india will profit from rare earths, until a. i. directed machinery takes over. this is 'ho-hum' stuff elsewhere, secret weapon? working from comic books, are you?
