  3. The WTO is not a "parliament" ruling over people. It has only arbitrational power entrusted to it with the agreement of members - who can leave at any minute. It also does not demand vast sums for membership. It also cannot enforce laws within participating states. It also does not have its own bank enforcing financial policies on its members. What you are doing is akin to comparing the Roman Empire with the local chamber of commerce.

  21. Afterthought_btw The left isn't a cohesive whole. It's a loose collection of malcontents sheltering under that umbrella term. Invariably two things happen: faction will fall out with faction and secondly violent or absurd factions within the group will result in the rest getting tarred with their brush. I preferred the left when I was young, when it was primarily a term used in the working class economical struggle. No longer, sadly.
