@saltymonke3682 No, not the university, an estimate by an individual at the university.
1
@jasoncullen8430 Lollll if you’re American you really aren’t in any position to be gloating about covid responses and death tolls. Just saying. Also, please point me to a country that isn’t going through some form of economic trouble right now.
1
@st20332 I didn’t say we shouldn’t consider it. I said it’s an estimate, just like any other.
1
You prefer fascism? 🤮🤮🤮
1
You should probably get a life then tbh
1
Patrick Robertson Thanks for that, Putin.
1
@Matthew_Loutner No, just a total naval blockade and sanctions so brutal the people there are without adequate food and medicine.
1
@Matthew_Loutner “Since 1992, the UN General Assembly has passed a nonbinding resolution every year, except for 2020, condemning the ongoing impact of the embargo and declaring it in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and of international law. There was no voting on this issue in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
1
@Matthew_Loutner “Human rights groups, such as Oxfam, have called for the sanctions to be lifted, saying they “hamper access to inputs, medical technologies, medical equipment, and other essential basic items” for everyday Cubans.” Btw how do you think the embargo is enforced?
1
@Matthew_Loutner I asked how the law is enforced.
1
@Matthew_Loutner I’ve been to North Korea. So no need to lecture me on their very real, and very tragic plight. (US sanctions play a huge part here too, typically and wilfully brushed over by exceptionalists like you). These sanctions punish the ordinary citizen, I’ve seen it first hand. Not only there, but Iran too. Ordinary people cut off from life necessities because the US deems it so under their so called “rules based order” aka, rules for thee, not for me. I do find it funny how Americans use car ownership as a poverty metric though. As if they can’t get around using their superior public transport systems? When compared to the US anyway. Ever been to China? Their high speed train network should embarrass the US. The fact that you can’t tell me how the embargo is enforced says it all. Considering Cuba is an island, I’d have thought the answer was obvious.
1
@robrechwithoutzaza7992 lol sorry? I thought Saudi Arabia was a US ally? Don’t you buy all your oil from them? You’re such a hypocrite!
1
@puraLusa Yes there is definitely no slavery within the US prison system or in the many countries within which the US exploits labour to produce its products. Give me a break
1
Russian bot can’t speak english
1
@claudjohnson3540 They also pushed you right back to the 38th with your tails between your legs. Don’t forget it. China is massive. They can afford losses. You can’t. Nothing has changed.
1
@TheRiiiight Yeah look up the battle of Chosin and reassess your comment
1
@didierduplantier8359 "The Chinese had no air power and were armed only with rifles, machineguns, hand grenades, and mortars. Against the much more heavily armed Americans, they adapted a technique they had used against the Nationalists in the Chinese civil war of 1946–49. The Chinese generally attacked at night and tried to close in on a small troop position—generally a platoon—and then attacked it with local superiority in numbers. The usual method was to infiltrate small units, from a platoon of fifty men to a company of 200, split into separate detachments. While one team cut off the escape route of the Americans, the others struck both the front and the flanks in concerted assaults. The attacks continued on all sides until the defenders were destroyed or forced to withdraw. The Chinese then crept forward to the open flank of the next platoon position, and repeated the tactics."
1
@didierduplantier8359 "The US military is a battle hardened organization from constant warfare in the last 30 years." - They've lost every war they've fought for 30 years. Vietnam, Afghanistan etc. They have shown they are unable to competently fight a guerrilla war.
1
@kingmusa8618 Casualties don’t mean jack if you lose the war.
1
@kingmusa8618 The Germans inflicted more casualties on the Soviets than were inflicted on them. Did they win WWII?
1
@krystofk.2279 the mental gymnastics are strong. I hear this same dumb argument all the time. Apparently you “won” the Vietnam war too. I mean, you killed way more Vietnamese people than they killed Americans. But so what? You still lost. How’s “south Vietnam” at this time of year? Give me a break
1
@didierduplantier8359 Sooooo you’re saying the US troops in Korea weren’t battle hardened from the Second World War?
1
@didierduplantier8359 I know China has the industrial power to match or exceed the US, the ability to mobilise and militarise that industry in a total war situation, and the manpower and shear population to maintain a long term conflict. The US has the technological edge, but did that help them in Afghanistan? Vietnam?
1
You clearly don’t know who he is. This is his style. He doesn’t let anyone off or talk nonsense like most reporters let Trump do, or ego stroke them like Fox News.
1
Lol you’re really comparing fascist coup attempts to broken shop windows? Yeah, you’re weird and you’re wrong
1
wagner1va this is the stupidest thing I’ve read today, well done.
1
LOL who are you kidding? Your own Vice President is exactly the same as this prick. He won’t even be in the same room with a woman that isn’t his wife 🤣🤣🤣🤣 YOUR VICE PRESIDENT!
1
@pingu9729 👍👍👍
1
USA = isolated and irrelevant
1
What do you call Tiananmen?
1
@zhugeliang3905 If “this is western democracy” then what do you call what happened at Tiananmen?
1
@wholegrainsugarman There have been just as many injustices committed by western democracies too, don’t get it twisted.
1
@zhugeliang3905 🤣 yes, nothing happened at Tiananmen. You’re proving my point
1
@zhugeliang3905 The funny thing is, I agree with you. I have no love for the US, but that doesn’t mean you should deny Tiananmen. Both can be true.
1
Taiwan’s claim is the same size, if not larger. You don’t seem to worry about that though.
1
@WorkwithMe287 Taiwan aka the Republic Of China lost the Chinese civil war. Now you tell me if the US would allow a confederate state to exist on its border. Not in a million years - proof, the American civil war.
1
@Rhinotejano Because you looted all the money from their countries
1
@Rhinotejano How do you think America got rich, dumba$$?
1
@brawnbenson552 yeah right.
1
@niweshlekhak9646 LOL really? Which ones? Give me a break.
1
@paolopetrozzi2213 Quite an exhaustive list. Now do a list of all the countries affected by US “foreign policy”. I’ll wait.
1
Yes because economies in the west are doing just great am I right?
1
@alrxandersmiths242 lol cos America doesn’t exploit Chinese labour
1
So what then do you call the US invasions of Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq???
1
NATO has no jurisdiction in the Pacific. Stay out
1
@markchambers7324 Yeah man, you’re so right! Centuries of colonialism and western influence, coups, wars and invasions have nothing to do with the state the Middle East is currently in, right? Nope, it’s just “tribalism”. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
1
@ScotlandTheBrave_1 Your country doesn’t even acknowledge Taiwan as a sovereign state. Hypocrites
1
@Redwhiteandtired it’s almost as if you’re just another smooth brained conspiracy theorist desperately clinging onto his tinfoil hat. Get a grip bro
1
When are you signing up for the military?
1
@robrechwithoutzaza7992 LOL wow that’s some amazing mental gymnastics you’ve got going on there, as if the west hasn’t spent the last 30 years invading almost every country in the Middle East, spends more on wars and its militaries than every country in the east combined. GTFOH
