@sabrinazakrowski1399 I know. It's like putting toothpaste back in the tube. I've never been through it personally. I just know that some people do stay together. I think the genuineness of the adulterer's brokenness and sorrow, as opposed to a get over it B* demonstrated here, makes all the difference. I think it's an act of God if the parties can fully repent and fully forgive. But it will be a new normal, but that's the for better or for worse in traditional vows because if you go the distance, you will experience "for worse" in your lives in some way, shape, or form. The postmodern form of adultery, p0rn, is one most of us will deal with. A girlfriend of mine was a gorgeous redheaded virgin in 1988 when she married her husband. She always made herself available sexually, within reason. He had a rougher background than her very solid Christian heritage. He came into marriage with p0rn issues when it was still in magazines. She rarely spoke about it, but one day, she told me, "You will never understand the pain." Anyway, TMI. 😆
