And let the hate of 7-year-old boys begiiiiin... NOW I've learned the haters haven't even seen the presentations.
19
Sometimes I have to get halfway through a TED Talk to understand why I need to see it.
18
There are nearly 8 billion people on a planet suited to sustain 2 billion. Abortion would not even be an issue if contraception were safe and widely available. So you should be asking yourself... why isn't it?
18
All TED Talks should be like this; relatable and light-hearted. I wouldn't even mind if Mandë did them all.
18
I'm not a sport guy. But I'm less than an hour from Seattle. Nice to see a prominent figure inspiring people. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Wilson.
18
To quash the conspiracy, ask what the logical outcome is? 'Bill Gates is tracking you. Now... um... um..."

Yes. I miss the gadget videos. But if not for these, I never would have know the anguish of those suffering in silence. And knowing is the beginning of understanding, of action. I would put this among my top ten most-powerful TED videos.

If we didn't expand our mind first, we never would have left the cave.

I have never met an intelligent racist.
16
Wells Fargo? This really dilutes your credibility, TED. Had to take back my automatic thumbs up.
16
TED Talks never stops surprising me.
16
Holy cow. This guy might stop recidivism in our lifetime.
15
Aww, were you triggered, snowflake? Is life REALLY hard for you?
15
I joke with the next generation about using implants. Because it's coming; they better get ready. edit; resistance is futile.
15
If you perceive it that way.
14
I love 'Indian' tacos, but I would be willing to try camas root (my region). Don't fear Critical Race 'Theory'. If we are teaching acceptance, it is for all. Nice Talk. Big scope, upbeat.
14
Three women on stage at the same time. That sound your hear is 7-year-old boy trolls heads exploding as they watch the end of this video.
13
Not exactly in keeping with TED Talks mission statement. But I don't know where else I'm going to hear powerful first-person testimony like this.
13
The 7-year-old boy trolls are taking over. Girls don't like them and they don't know why.
12
I don't understand the thumbs-down. Did she lie about her opinions? And this on the same day John Oliver covers the ceaseless attack of women online by faceless juveniles.
11
Lots of TED VR presentations, but I think this will be the one to kick start the mainstream.
11
The unrelenting claim of the immature. Check up on real comics.
11
I'm not gettin' the title, TED.
11
Yes, we do Russia bot.
11
Then you are smarter than people who deny they are stupid.
11
Huh. Shoes didn't show up at all in the description. Are you sure you subscribed for the right reason?
11
Talented, visionary, funny, and beautiful.
10
Why?
10
What other rules would you like to impose on others? Hopefully not your spelling and punctuation...
10
Astonishingly simple. How has this not already been implemented...
10
You must not have watched the video. That was her exact point.
10
You would not be uploading your mind, you would be uploading data. Furthermore, that dataset would would be the version of you from that second. We'll never know if that data version of you can learn and interpret as you really would.
10
What percent of it was a joke? What percent of it was subjugation?

Does your 'mainstream media' cover climate? Citizens United? Net neutrality? There is no mainstream media anymore. Tune in to freespeech.org
9
Was the spotlight operator having a stroke over words that were arbitrarily determined to be taboo?
9
@PsySwitch1983 Where in this presentation did you get that? 80% of prisoners are men. And how successful have male -controlled prisons fared?
9
A passionate speaker on an important subject; this is where TED is essential.
8
Then you missed the core message of TED and progression.
8
Thanks for your input, Russiabot!

I love Handel's Messiah, but I think Daria just made Handel my favorite composer.
7
Dot, does that mean if your mother comes in I should not screen her for sickle-cell anemia? Hypertension?
7
I have to keep reminding myself; the 'E' is for Entertainment, the 'E' is for Entertainment, the 'E' is for Entertainment. But I wish it stood for Education.
7
You are carrying a computer in your pocket that is more powerful than the computer that took man to the moon. Do you know anybody that has recently died from cancer? Cancer deaths are down substantially. People are getting Uber rides from autonomous cars. Private spacecraft are carrying out missions. You are already in the future.
7
Social sciences like psychology? Like sociology? As we progress what becomes science will progress as well.
7

7
Cool and effective use of TED. Just coincidentally a 13-year-old girl.
7
Furthermore, it helps to extrapolate medical history. Even in the case of a lesbian couple, a child might need a male perspective someday.
