For some WWE is art. Detractors, ask yourself what the E in TED stands for. And D.
7
Wait... he drives a CAR?!!
7
12 minutes in before mentioning Hamas. So long as Hamas lives... how can you have peace?
7
I don't always commit 12minutes to a TED Talk, but I do want to be a good storyteller. Kelly isn't just presenting... she is connecting.
7
@evanjohnson7515 No. They marvel at his creativity and ingenuity. Improv; he is making it up on the spot based on the subject he didn't hear until just before he went onstage.
7
Billionaires aren't mainstream. Do you think THEY aren't affecting you also?
7
So good. And I can't put my finger on exactly how.
7
Facts have a well-known liberal bias.
7
Melissa got into a scandal her first SNL year so I was predisposed to not like her. She overcame that and went on to become my favorite performer. And her affirmations at the end... I felt it. I lost control of a single tear.
7
Wow. You have no idea what TED is for, do you?
7
How can it be that Tyler Perry is a millionaire, but we have never heard of Sarah Jones. She is this generation's Robin Williams.
6
And here come the 7-year-old boy commenters...
6
Before you 'thumbs-down' this video... did you ever travel outside the US? Did you ever oppress someone else? Do you love America... but hate Americans?
6
Here's the deal... TED Talks shouldn't be something you 'kinda' want to hear. It should be something you NEED to hear. And if there are things here you close your mind against, then ALL of the Talks are wasted on you.
6
Rabbitrock Bush Does the world typically fail to meet your expectations?
6
And yet here you are.
6
Thank you for the sub-titles.
6
Whew. You almost got enlightened. Close call!
6
What does that have to do with this video? Why are all of your made-up problems someone else's fault?
6
Amanpour - arguably the all-time greatest journalist, AND on the scene.
6
I grew up in the '60 of Black Power and 'Black is Beautiful'. I still get a charge out of a big beautiful 'fro.
6
Excellent use of TED. Love when I hear new things I couldn't hear anywhere else.
6
Welp, better go back to your children working 11 hours shifts 6 days a week in unsafe settings... RUSSIABOT.
6
How can such a gentle spirit be so inspirational.
6
So if something doesn't solve all of our problems the first day... ? The Wright Bros. flew less than a 1000'. Useless, right? The byproduct of petroleum is flammable, better pour it in a ditch (we did). If you ask a girl out she might say no. Better stay in the cave...
6
@ernestogarcia2522 They marvel at his creativity and ingenuity. We got that. Someday you might... if you don't suppress it.
6
A very engaged speaker. Loves her job. And I wonder why the tech was not immediately fielded for education's sake.
6
@_Everyone__ "This channel has no videos." Please... tell us more about great videos, Russiabot.
6
Umm... did you watch the video?
6
This talk comes perilously close to being a stand-up routine, but like the best TEDtalks, it offers a startling simple and elegant solution.
6
Much better; a Talk that is part wonder, part humor... all fascination.
6
The 7-year-old troll commenters must love this.
6
"Welll... since a grrl didn't say it, I guess I like it." (7-year-old boy troll)
5
Yes, I was multi-tasking while this was playing and pausing often. Still it was mesmerizing, amazing, and eerily beautiful.
5
Is there are speaker that would want this degree and duration of EXTREME CLOSE-UPS? Sheesh.
5
+mhtinla You are complaining about people complaining.
5
Cros Riiiiiiight. I wonder if she's heard of you...
5
The Scandinavian countries disagree with you. See if we or they have lower recidivism rates.
5
I would love to hear your definition of 'intelligent'.
5
Finally... a video FOR the 7-year-old trolls.
5
And this is what they ALLOW us to know...
5
For what? I'll bet the program is free.
5
Oh my God. Almost 5 minutes to get to the point. edit; and after 7-and-a-half minutes of analogies about traffic- instead of traffic, I'm out. C'mon, TED.
5
A simple presentation. But it has the potential to be one of the most powerful. I have a municipal interview tonight. Now I'm confident about ending with an anecdote.
5
This is incredible. I didn't even know where Bali was, but now I see it could be our Garden of Eden of the future.
5
Thumbs down if you didn't watch the video!
5
louie wallenberg Are you being sarcastic? Factory deaths have always been significant. And, yes, Frazier will have to represent them. It's obvious you won't.
4
+Cros I've heard of her several times... Your channel has no content.
4
The first color is not exactly random. Notice he has her read 'Cobalt'. Then tells her to color the horse.
4
What is this agenda you perceive?
