Sorry to hear this. but did your HUSBANDs consider you useful. remember: the customer is right! if the customer doesnt find your product useful or a 'good-value' either you need to change your product, or you need to change your target customer! those are your only 2 options. What is useful & valuable to you and women is not always what men value or find useful! Maybe the men were just 'bad' but assume you need to tweak your product, your marketing or your target customer.

Nice guys are men who are trying to straddle 2 different environments with 2 different standards and falling short in both. The BEST bad-analogy i can suggest is, being taught the rules of America football and the rules of soccer, having the field and the players look similar, then while playing the games, changing the rules during the game. BUT No one tells you the rules have changed UNTIL you have committed a penalty violating the rules! So there is a constant anxiety of which game we are playing so which rules we should be following, football or soccer? I admit, not a perfect analogy but the best one I could think of in 10 seconds. I have seen jerks get away with being jerks, then when the nice guy tries the SAME behavior, get screamed at for it! Once you are labeled a jerk, you get a pass for being a jerk; once you are labelled a nice guy, you are expected to be a nice guy! 2 different standards! We ALSO treat men & women different and call it equality! LOL

I have seen lots of women, EVERY woman says 'NAWALT (not all women are like this, not me!), and the vast majority turn out to be JUST like this while the rest are slightly better to slightly worse. He has videos on why women do NOT feel the need to apologize, and while aggravating to hear, it was enlightening. because women dont care alot about right or wrong, they often dont need to assign 'responsibility' the way men need to. they are more concerned about the condition of relationships. For men, in our groups, we need to people to accept responsibility, and this carries over dealing with women. this is where the big flash point is between men & women. I wish i could remember the name of the video. i will try to search it and if I find it, i will edit this with the title. but great comment, and I found it to be spot on!
