  5. Ukraine did way better offensives last year with less sanctions imposed on Russia. The two is not connected at all. Giving weapons and economic aid to Ukraine is imperative. Some of the high tech sanctions are wise as well. Weaponizing international trade and sanctioning basic commodities like oil and gas is just pure madness. It does not hurt Putin. It hurts everyone else.

Well, if we live in a democracy, then I dont think your parties should do this behind the back of the citizens, as far as I remember none of them offered conscritpion in their respective election promises, so the parties definitely dont represent their oppinion on this matter. Have a referendum where people decide instead of forcing your will like an authoritarian regime does, otherwise you are no better than Putin and his conscription rounds.

  23. Dollarization means that their debt stays where it is. The only way to get rid of it is the actual inflation of their currency, thats economics 101. They will be in the same trap as Greece was with the Euro. They basically have to sell everything that they have and increase taxes to the sky to manage their economy.

BTW you mentioned Bombardier which the Canadian government subsidizes, well, thatswhy you cant just export Bombardier to Europe and US without actually have factories there. Domestically you do as you wish, if you go to the international trade then there are rules to obey.
