I'll make these easy for you guys. Any question that begins with "Why do Americans..." You can STOP right there. 95% of the time the answer is simple. "Because they're American" And you can probably think of many synonyms for American. I'm not going to go there because it's a sensitive subject, but you probably know what I'm talking about.

Time travel so I could go back in time and never pay to watch the Man of Steel.

For an argument to be valid, you must have consistency, but validity is not soundness, it's not truth. If you want certainty, you need validity and sound premises. An argument that doesn't have sound premises, can yield false conclusions.

haha one of my favroite flicks

No plant should be illegal. These things shouldn't even be talked about as drugs.

Morals are costumes, and not the measure of perfection. 200 years ago it was moral to buy a human being. Our goals should be to create ethics. In Greek, ethos is the attendance to some kind of perfection, very different than morality. Morality is used as a club to grind down the dependent. And we can never subject our masters to the moral rules they inflict on us.

To this day, IMO, this is the best TED talk: /watch?v=SHbkEs_hSec&list=PLC936A50CA3F9DA63&index=30

Visible language! These guys change their appearance in accordance with their linguistic intent. And they use the eye for the extraction of meaning, rather than the ear. It's a kind of telepathy.

His designs are very sexual in nature. That's very interesting.

A sustainable city doesn't depend on the importation of resources. I wonder why he didn't mention that? It's the most important aspect of a sustainable future.

We must evolve away from statism and into a new paradigm- a paradigm which doesn't involve aggressive force. A paradigm of universal morality. I think we have all forgotten about the Golden Rule. Such a simple concept, if observed by everyone, has the power to change the world overnight. We need to ditch statism and adopt a new powerful paradigm.
1
Someone gives you a moral rule, first thing to do is examine not the moral rule, but the exception. Who is not bound by that rule. Who gets to do the exact opposite. It will always be those in power. That is why moral rules exist. Any thinker who tries to apply universal moral rules is considered to be insane, because the purpose of universal morality is the exception, the violation.

Hmmmm, I wonder what the world looks like without human perception?

I think the specific word you're looking for is rhetorical

I'm going to dump my cheating wife tonight but she doesn't know it.

When we doubt, when we hesitate, we duplicate.

Science has led humanity into a blind alley
1
@itninvestigate It's something I stole from Terence McKenna. I think it was in reference to this quote, "We are asked by science to believe that the entire universe sprang from nothingness, and at a single point and for no discernible reason. This notion is the limit case for credulity. In other words, if you can believe this, you can believe anything.”

I hadn't noticed that! If they keep going like this, Google is going to be synonymous with fuckup. Here's an idea, Instead of letting the employees who just want to get paid and don't give a shit what the site looks like call the shots, why not allow the users, the people who actually USE Youtube, to vote on what the best layout is? After all, we're the one's who use the site.

mis·chie·vous

These fuckers in office like Obama, Cameron, Clinton, Biden, etc... have an outaded and myopic view on how to run things, and it's based on control and power. And it's bullshit. And it's got to go.

I see something on your forehead.
1
Not to worry, I don't feel insulted ;-)

And If you can smell it but can't see it, someone probably farted

I'm not buying it. I just don't put anything on my skin that would be poisonous to swallow. Your skin "IS" a sponge. Anything you put on it gets absorbed. Betcha sunscreen causes more cancer than the sun itself.
1
oh shit! I get it now
1
You're even more stupid.
1
I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is
1
what isn't.
1
How is that?
1
well putting someone on your skin that you wouldn't put inside your body is kind of moronic, so I guess we're even.
1
Lol right. I remember that little bit from my middle school science teacher.
1
That has happened to me many times. I think it shows that we don't understand time.
1
Yeah.
1
I guess we're all here for the animation

this world needs less people

I find the doctors and the sages, Have differ' d in all climes and ages, And two in fifty scarce agree, On what is pure morality.
1
Wow, not what I was expecting to hear, but I'm glad I asked :-) This water method, if not done properly, could potentially become a wet mess. But hey, you only live once.
1
ok
1
IMO- There is no such thing as death- it's only a figment in the mind of man. Life is eternal and death is only something the living have to deal with. We come to ourselves only after having had a history. With regard to our own death, we never really get to I'm dead. Life is all that anyone has ever really known.
1
I'm not angry, I'm outraged. Everyone should be the way things are going now.
