If I were in this person's place I would go practice medicine in Chile for a year or spend 6 months there without working if I could afford it, become a permanent resident there, then move to Portugal and practice there for the next few years while taking a vacation in Chile every year and just like that in about 5 years u have 2 other passports. I would also open bank accounts in other countries possibly with higher interests

That's wrong. Having a job is losing time and money, being an entrepreneur is what gives u time and money. I say this because having a job is certainly less productive

@nikireynolds5200 cause they speak the same language, have similar culture and if you're Brazilian it's easier to emigrate to Portugal, same if you're a Portuguese emigrating to Brazil

@nikireynolds5200 I mean in my opinion central and eastern countries are better but that's just my opinion. U as a foreigner could live tax free in Portugal, which I couldn't since I'm Portuguese. What I'm saying is make sure your choice makes sense to u even if doesn't make sense for others or even most people

@nikireynolds5200 if u wanna escape communism Portugal ain't the place lol. Our 2 major parties are the socialists and the social democrats, I think that speaks for itself. However, the tax regime for foreigners ain't bad at all, but taxes for the natives such as myself are a nightmare🙄
