I would say that the only situation where u may need a cbi is if you're an American citizen or of course in more extreme conditions like political persecution, etc, that if you're a westerner that probably doesn't happen. My opninon is if you're not American and u have a decent passport u don't need a citizenship quickly and I'd focus on naturalisation. Perhaps start a business, hire people, or even do the trifecta so in a few years u qualify for citizenship in those places. Cbi programs are expensive and you're basically buying a passport that probably doesn't add much to your current passport or your portfolio while by naturalisation u may spend more in some cases but u have the benefit of living there and usually own property that u can use as u please and even sell in the future

@samjordan8800 sure, what I meant is if u don't need it quickly there's not much value to it. If your u can't leave your country and u need to then u need a citizenship quickly. If u don't need to leave Italy then u don't need a second citizenship quickly, u can just wait until things go back to normal
