  1. No, Canada doesn't have a citizenship-based tax system unlike the US meaning that if you're a US citizen it doesn't matter where in the world u reside u'll always have to pay taxes in the US unless u renounce your citizenship

  2.  @greengems3102  Canada isn't a territorial tax country meaning income u make outside Canada will be taxes in Canada if that's the country u reside. Examples of territorial tax countries would be Panama or Malasya

  3.  @greengems3102  not quite, if u moved to Malasya and set your business there ud have to sell your product or service outside Malasya in order not to pay taxes. I'm not sure wether u have to declare your income but I guess u do since the taxation system of Malasya allows u to keep 100% of your foreign income. If for any reason u wanted do business in Malasya u'd have to pay corporate tax since your company would be incorporated in Malasya and also income tax since u'd reside in the country.
