  13.  @danielsandwhichpants1391 someone already responded far better then I could, but the Nazis economic policy was not privatization, it was synchronisation. The owners of these privatized industries were all high ranking members of the Nazi party, so they were parts of the organization that controlled the country. Basically what the Nazis did is identical to the Catholic Church getting in power and then selling off public goods to the the bishops and cardinals.

I mean someone had to replace the police and if the left had their way it would be social workers. The truth is the left push we see today was created by the dumb idea that everyone should go to college, because the truth is most people going there aren’t doing so to get skills to benefit society, but to get a random degree and check it off the box. These people that are going just to check off the box go for the easiest degrees they can find. But there is vary little demand for those degrees in the real world so these people are left high and dry so they started pushing to create more demand. Most of the left are bigots, but they have economic reasons to pretend not to be.

  18. What you say is socialism is in reality marxism. Socialism is much more broad, containing marxism, utopian socialism, bourgeoisie socialism, fascism, and nazism.

  34.  @PascalSWE  Seize the means of production from who? Other Germans? Nazism isn’t class based socialism, that would be Marxism, it was race based socialism. Privately owned production is completely inaccurate, sure employers could have profit, but that’s after the Nazis set the prices and set the wages. The workers liked the regime despite the reduction in liberty because their wages were significantly improved. Additionally under the DAF workers had a say in how a company was run via worker councils.

Hitler was a racial socialist, he believed in socialism for the working race, not the working class. Just like the Soviet Union, the nazis nationalized private unions, and band new ones from forming.

Socialism believes rights are privileges that exist if they benefit the collective, this is the reason they can believe property rights are illegitimate, thus if the state is a workers state everything it’s doing is for the benefit of the workers, so if workers are fighting against it they obviously aren’t working for their own benefit and so would have their rights to fight against the state taken away. There’s a reason every socialist state bans private unions, strikes, and protests. The main mode of production was a planned economy that controlled every aspect of society.
