8:15 to 8:35 in the video is something that the political pundits who yell and scream on Fox News need to hear.

I don't know if it's overrated. It's not exactly the most popular Marvel. I just wonder why they bother with a sequel since the main actor died.
1
I miss when they used animatronics, stop motion animation, and puppets instead of CGI. That's one of the features I like in the original Star Wars trilogy.
1
True. The author of books, screenplays, etc. is the real talent. Publishers and TV execs are mostly glorified middle men that the creator has to go through as they try to change his/her original script. And yeah. They would totally complain about something like that. The media has lost its mind.

I'm not sad that this was cancelled. But I am mad that the '80s sitcom ALF was cancelled on a to be continued... season finale that was never continued. They should make an ALF movie that continues where ALF left off. Not knowing what happened to ALF bugs the shit out of me. To be continued my ass, liars!!! 😄

2:39 Exactly how I feel about Avatar fans who seem to have no clue why they like Avatar. They're like children. They should just watch The Smurfs. It had blue people in it.
1
Maybe one day it will become a popular cult classic which will finally promote a long awaited sequel. We can only hope.
1
Worst scene in the whole show in my opinion. Only time I ever cussed while watching it.
1
@derCarlotron I haven't seen that one. But I believe it.
1
The Three Stooges slapped each other all the time. It's nothing new.
1
It's a comedy. I think that's why my friend at work liked it. He's funny.
1
Tolkien is lucky to be dead. I'm pretty sure if he was alive seeing The Rings of Power would send him to an early grave.
1
@GamingPlus10 Question is which would he like better? Peter Jackson or those animated Tolkien films from the late '70s?
1
I saw an online poll where this movie was voted higher than classic Wrath of Khan. Most people who vote in online polls are under age 30 and stupid, so that might explain it. It still makes you lose hope in humanity just a little bit.
1
Networks have no clue how popular their shows are. Years ago Fox cancelled The Tick and temporaily cancelled Family Guy. Both popular shows that were cancelled too early.
1
I never saw this movie. But the actress is hotter and younger looking than Angelina Jolie was in the original.
1
Stick with the books. Even that new Gollum video game looks better.
1
South Park may be the greatest, but the sitcom Perfect Strangers is still the most underrated show of all time. I will argue that on my death bed. Haha!
1
The writers don't get paid enough. So they eventually stopped writing anything good altogether.
1
There's a problem when the worst episode of your favorite Saturday morning cartoon as a kid still has a better plot than She-Hulk.
1
If I were George Lucas I would straight up tell the fans of the expanded universe of Star Wars that Darth Maul is dead as a doornail and him surviving should not be canon. I would also tell them how stupid and cliche it is to bring dead villains back like in a lame Saturday morning cartoon trope.
1
The problem with modern entertainment is it's produced by wealthy people who are out of touch with both the common viewer and the common man as they look down on us from their ivory towers.
1
Ben Shapiro doesn't get invited to parties. Try watching the dude play video games. He's awkward. 😆
1
He was literally a cross dresser who flirted with women. Haha!
1
Have you noticed how the message never criticizes the wealthy elites or nepotism???? Or Disney for becoming a borderline monopoly????
1
They don't need to be this expensive. They need more low budget comedies. Like Napoleon Dynamite.
1
Have to disagree about Ruby Rod being a bad character. He was the comic relief in the movie. He was over the top but that's what made him funny. Plus he was literally a cross dresser who flirted with women. And the women liked it. Weird but funny.
1
One day if we're lucky JJ Abrams himself will be used as a reference for somebody who isn't good at creative writing. The man single handedly butchered both Star Wars and Star Trek.
1
The black dwarf lady in The Rings of Power creeped me out the most. Everything from her hairstyle to her unnatural eyes is odd. She doesn't even have a beard like dwarf women are supposed to. She's supposed to be Durin's wife? WTH is this???? And nobody asked for a mixed race elf either. The casting is bizarre.
1
There are plenty of original ideas but Hollywood underpays their writers who have good, original ideas. Hollywood these days wouldn't know a good new idea if it bit them in the bum! That's why we have endless bad remakes.
1
Ruby Rod was over the top and funny! He's sort of like a futuristic cross dressing Michael Jackson if Michael Jackson was a radio DJ. I love how he screams like a girl in that scene with all the explosions.
1
The worst scene in the show is where some lunatic blames the elves for stealing trades in Numenor. Even though Galadriel is the only elf in Numenor and only got there by chance or by happenstance. When the guy actually said the words "elf lover" I cussed at the TV. The scene makes no sense and the modern bigot language makes it worse. What were they thinking making such an embarrassing nonsense scene that has nothing to do with the elves or the world the show is supposed to be set in? I give it 5 out of 5 forehead slaps! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

These days? Most of the movies she's been in have been Michael Bay movies and Michael Bay movies usually suck. Michael Bay takes people's favorite shows from childhood like Ninja Turtles and The Transformers and butchers them with bad storylines, poor character development, and over the top explosions for good measure. Young people don't seem to mind as much because they're too young to remember what a good Transformers movie or Ninja Turtles film looks like or how to make those types of movies the right way instead of the wrong way.
1
Why is it always black people that get cast too? As if they're the only minorities. I grew up near an Indian Reservation. I probably know more Native Americans than blacks. But no. Blacks are the most underrepresented I'm sure. Ridiculous! I will not watch black Little Mermaid. I hope it fails big time!
1
@chrisnichols9014 Agree.
1
JJ Abrams isn't the only Hollywood guy repurposing things others have done better. Michael Bay does the same thing. It's why I rarely watch any of his movies.
