  1.  Toby Thompson  Yeah. Low paying jobs are the real prisons. It's true. The only escape is getting away with taking long breaks. It will neverpay enough to motivate you to work hard and the Mexicans at your job will work hard for low pay anyway, so you might as well.

  2.  @gunsmoke132  If you earn what you're worth then why do politicians get paid more than scientists? Scientists are surely worth more. Athletes are overpaid too. Just because there is demand to see them play does not automatically make our system into a meritocracy. Food for thought.

  5. How about buying a bunch of homes after a housing bubble bursts? Then flipping and selling them once it's a sellers market again. This way you make the billions you spent on houses back and then some. You can also use it to buy businesses and buy a bunch of shares of stock. By only spending money on things that will probably increase in value over time you can spend a billion dollars on things that are an investment rather than a liability.

  8. Nobody has been able to prove the afterlife. People just hope one exists and that it's a happy afterlife because most people are fearful of death and the unknown. People say they look forward to the afterlife but I don't see very many people who are willing to gamble on the idea by killing themselves.

  11. I think it would be fun to get into a fight with a serial killer. The adrenaline rush of elbowing him in the throat and trying to gouge his eyes out while he pulls a plastic bag over my head. The thrill of battle. If I actually succeeded in killing him in self defense I'd thank him for a good time. That was the most fun I've had in years, I'd say. Now what to do with the serial killers body. Hmm....
