Gove seems to be embracing his role as a new Joseph Goebbels. I don't think there is enough laughing at politicians happening. They are truly risible.

Meanwhile there are more billionaires in the U.K. than ever before. Such obscene wealth at the top is a failure of politics, a failure of the economic system and failure of democracy. We need radical change. Now.
41
Who would have guessed?! The fossil fuel industry is evil to the core. It needs to end as fast as possible. Nationalise it and manage its decline. And time to boycott the Science Museum.

shamanahaboolist What Brexiters miss is that giving up protections for the NHS could be the price of any trade deal with the US. The BMA warned against this possibility specifically as a serious threat to standards and outcomes. https://www.bma.org.uk/-/media/files/pdfs/collective%20voice/influence/europe/brexit-briefing-international-trade-and-health.pdf?la=en

These farmers have stood up to heartless neoliberal capitalism and won! ✊
39
Germany literally arrests Jews who talk about this.
38
#FreePalestine 🇵🇸❤️✊
38
But Venezuela tho! 🤦♂️ What kind a of system is this where billionaires keep getting richer every mean day while millions of people struggle to eat. Johnson has failed the country. The Tories have failed the country. Frankly, capitalism has failed the country.
38
That title is the best reason I have heard to vote Labour! If Trump hates him then he must be doing something right.
35
Endless disgusting war crimes. And neither the Tories of Labour will call for a ceasefire. Revolting.
34
This funding for heat pump covers less than 0.5% of homes. The Tories joke policies aren't funny anymore.
33
That headline is about as warmongering and irresponsible as you could come up with C4.
33
Whoever wins, we lose.
32
People say they're scared that Corbyn will wreck the country. People, the country is already wrecked. Haven't you noticed?
32
Actual news at last.
32
"Neoliberalism has failed" Can someone please tell this to Rachel Reeves...
30
The only arrangement that can possibly work for the DUP, given they refuse literally everything put their way, is to remain in the EU!
30
I swear Starmer us trolling is with this constant impersonation of the Tories. Not only are these statements offensive, they are wildly wrong!!!
29
@delawarecop Ok, easy there old timer
29
💯 solidarity with the RMT and any workers stroking for decent pay and conditions. You know who haven't taken a pay cut in the last 2 years? The top 1% who have amassed £600 billion in new wealth in that time.
29
Harry is doing the British people a huge favour here. He is exposing the monarchy as a an anachronism and bad joke. The sooner the British people learn to throw off self-abasing deference to the ruling class, the better.
29
Thank the Tories for scrapping energy efficiency standards to line the pockets of the house builders and fossil fuel industry. The Tories have to go.
27
To everyone saying that this is fake news, where is it factually incorrect? And please don’t answer by saying that no one talks about grooming gangs. That is whataboutism and not an answer to my question. I sympathise with a lot of what Tommy Robinson is worried about, but I will not put that above the importance of the rule of law. Contempt of Court is an ancient statute and exists for good reason. Is Tommy not guilty of his offence? If not, why not?
27
And to think, people complain that climate protesters are wasting their time and should "get a job"....
27
@delawarecop On the contrary. I know the science pretty well. I just find it tedious to hear half-baked claptrap spewed out by people who don't understand the first thing about thermodynamics.
27
Who won in Iraq? Who won in Afghanistan? Who won in Syria? Who won in Libya? Who won in Vietnam? Who won in Korea? Etc No one wins these wars.
25
More pointing the gun at our own head by way of a threat to the EU 🤦♂️
25
Solidarity with the workers ✊
25
#eiecampaign Enough is Enough ✊
25
I know. Amazing isn't it!!
24
4:30 Tories apologising for bigoted slurs while accusing Labour of antisemitism is a sick joke 🤮 The right wing press are furious at a Labour leader promising real change.
24
Labour want to deal with child poverty, just so long as it costs £0.00. Not a serious party.
24
Priti Patel used to do PR for the tobacco industry. Who knew.... Sure she is deeply concerned about the country's health now though.
24
Billion. Not million.
23
I mean, it's not something I would do, but I can see why they are feeling so desperate. The government clearly doesn't give a sh*t about the climate. People have a right to self-defence and dirty against dangerous cars, even if the government won't legislate to protect t them. They shouldn't be socially acceptable. Property rights don't trump rights to clean air, safe roads and a liveable climate.
22
Save money. Protect your health. Help the animals. Protect our planet. What's not to like? #TryVegan 😀
21
The Tories left the middle and working class to languish over the last decade, while the new wealth and income went to the top 1%. It's time for this to end. That money needs come back to public investment and services, especially with a climate emergency underway.
21
Corbyn fails his party and his country yet again. Labour would destroy the Tories in any election but for this man.
20
Meanwhile whiny well off people are bitching and moaning that their theatre show was disrupted. Most people are behaving like spoilt brats unable to act like adults and realise that we are facing oblivion unless we fight for our future right now.
20
She's awesome. Shame she is leaving parliament. But you can understand when she describes how sociopathic the institution is.
20
And all this on the eve of a disastrous no deal Brexit. While the rest of Europe is gearing up to spend hundreds of billions (not a typo) on a green recovery, the U.K. will be on its own with no major trade deals and will be continuing the transfer of wealth upwards with bailouts to corporations and banks in the form absurd spending on HS2 (£100 billion), roads (£27 billion) and defence (£16 billion) while all they can find for a green recovery is £4 billion over 10 years. They are pitiful excuse for a government. They are fleecing us while we are distracted by the pandemic and paving the way for a catastrophic future.
20
@titteryenot4524 lol. A thief has to take something from someone. Jefferson has been in the ground for a very long time. Indeed I'm sure Jefferson would be delighted to know his words are being used by people, centuries after his death, attributed of not. Find something to get upset about that actually matters.
20
Another tragedy of our broken capitalism. No one is valued for their social value, for the love or care they give or the comfort and help they are to the needy. Nope, you value is only ever what the market will pay. So hedge fund managers bleeding the country dry are multimillionaires while the nurses and carers that make the lives of our sick and old tolerable at all are paid a pittance for their invaluable work. It doesn't have to be this way. Capitalism is not a state of nature - it's a system that we humans designed, just like feudalism and slavery. This is another failed system.
20
The oil industry cannot have a future. It's that simple. The best plan I have heard is just to nationalise it and manage its decline over the next 10 years, using what's left of the revenues to fund transition to clean energy jobs for all the affected communities.
20
Don't forget. The country has plenty of money. It's all piled up in the bank accounts of the 1% that got £600 billion of new wealth during COVID. But it's against everything that the Tories stand for, to actually tax the rich fairly.
19
Nice presentation but there is only one metric that matters. Carbon emissions. Instead of the 7-10% decline we needed, they were dramatically up in 2021 and they are expected to be higher again in 2022. US fossil fuel production is projected to be higher in 2022, so is Indian and Australian coal production. We are driving towards the cliff and our foot is still hard down on the accelerator. Our governments are drunk at the wheel and they will get us all killed.
19
@alingard1 he is talking about INCOME. He is ignoring WEALTH inequality.
19
This year will have the least extreme weather that you will see for the rest of your life. The collapse of our climate is not inevitable though. It's a choice made by those in power. If you want to stop feeling so hopeless that you have to look away, remember, we do have the power to act. It won't be a comfortable experience. But we don't have any choice. Not if we really care about our lives ones.
19
Looks like a lovely film. Haters gonna hate. They have nothing else to live for.
19
Myners putting the boot in 😂 Greene is the perfect example of why neoliberal capitalism truly sucks. Shysters getting obscenely rich of the hard word of thousands of hard up working people 🤮
