It's gang violence. In the UK, they use knives. Read up about what's happening in London. Violent people will always find a weapon.
1
Btw, Putin didn't say that.
1
@captainbadger1013 That's not true. Europeans are flooding into Russia. They don't want to live under fascist NATO and the insane EU anymore.
1
@connectwithyourdeck So you haven't been awake for the last two months when everything Russian has been canceled in the west? Even cats? Why would Russians buy products from companies that have betrayed them?
1
It's a predictable consequence of sanctioning Russia - pushing Russia and China even closer as allies. They have a common enemy, us. That's not what we should be doing.
1
@TravellingwithRussell Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is head of the FDA, now. He wants to eliminate corn syrup from soda pop in favor of real sugar, which would be amazing. I'm a Coke fan, myself.
1
@Lljallja You realize that if the countries hadn't sanctioned Russia, meaning that they stopped importing Russian products, then they would still be getting those supplies? Russia hasn't stopped trading with countries who haven't sanctioned them.
1
@Ev The average wage in Russia is about 1/3 that of the average wage in the United States, so the cost of everything tends to be proportionally lower.
1
So do you also boycott companies that trade in Ukraine? Ukraine is a genocidal dictatorship that has been shelling the eastern part of their own country for the past eight years, killing and injuring at least 40,000 people according to the UN, mostly innocent women and children. Unless you boycott those companies, too, then you're a hypocrite.
1
Oh, boo-hoo. Here's the thing: all Putin asked was for Ukraine to remain neutral like they promised and to stop shelling Donbas. He asked for 8 years. What happened? Ukraine allowed NATO and the Pentagon to build 46 bioweapons labs in Ukraine. 46. That's according to the Pentagon, who lied about it for years until recently. That's not just a threat to Russia, but to the whole world. Also, in 2014, Donbas held a referendum and voted to go with Russia after the coup. Instead of honoring the vote, the government of Ukraine chose to kill them. They've been shelling Donbas for the last eight freaking years. Putin decided, rightly so, that enough was enough. It isn't Russia that's lost the world's opinion, it's the US and Europe. Everyone in the world knows what's going on except the western addle-pated sheep.
1
So you approve of genocide when Ukraine does it? They've been shelling the eastern part of their own country for the past eight years, killing and injuring at least 40,000 people according to the UN. If we were in Russia's position, we would have crushed Ukraine years ago, and you know it, just like we've done many times before to other countries. Ukraine would be a big smoking crater if they did to us what they've been doing to Russians.
1
Pointless? Here's the thing: all Putin asked was for Ukraine to remain neutral like they promised and to stop shelling Donbas. He asked for 8 years. What happened? Ukraine allowed NATO and the Pentagon to build 46 bioweapons labs in Ukraine. 46. That's according to the Pentagon, who lied about it for years until recently. Russia is on the righteous side of this argument. By far. Biden just doesn't want to lose the sweet, sweet money stream his family gets from Ukraine, and the Pentagon and NATO don't want to lose the 46 bioweapons labs they run in Ukraine. Isn't it funny how bioweapons labs are illegal in the US because they're so dangerous, but it's ok to run 46 of them in Ukraine? That isn't just a danger to Russia; it's a threat to the whole world.
1
Why are you carrying Biden's water? He's in this because his family have been raking in millions from Ukraine, his sweet, sweet honeypot of corruption. NATO and the Pentagon don't want to lose the 46 (yes, they have admitted to 46) bioweapons labs they have in Ukraine. Bioweapons labs are illegal in the US because they're so dangerous, but it's ok to run 46 of them in Ukraine? That's madness. Insanity. That's not just a threat to Russia, it's a threat to the entire world. Russia is on the righteous side of this argument.
1

1
Who will invest in the US when the government can, and do, just confiscate everything whenever they want? We need a Sri Lanka event in the US.
1
Are you boycotting companies who trade with genocidal Ukraine, too? Or is it ok with you when "our" side does it? Ukraine has been shelling the eastern part of their own country for the past eight years, killing and injuring at least 40,000 people according to the UN, mostly innocent women and children. So - are you a hypocrite or not?
1
Is that how you feel about living in a western country? Western democracy is just an illusion. You think you're free, obviously, but only because you haven't been paying attention. Do you think for one minute that Russians would tolerate the violent riots of the last two years in America? I doubt that the Russian government would even have to lift a finger, because Russian citizens wouldn't have put up with it for a second.
1
A lot of it is that over 100 US food factories have exploded this year. We started feeling the loss nationally months ago when there were only 30 that had exploded. Now it's over 100. That's a huge problem.
1
Right now, this minute, Ukraine is deliberately shelling civilians in Donetsk, like they've been doing for the past eight years. They even destroyed a maternity hospital a few days ago. Tell me, what's the point of shelling civilians? If I were you, I would be careful whose side you put your money on. I know that Europe is having buyer's remorse right now.
1
@scotland638 According to the Roman historians, he was. What does it profit you to choose to be a scoffer? Nothing, except your misery, and the misery you deliberately try to inflict on others. Good job.
1
My mom had a miniature poodle and she was definitely not rich. She worked in a greenhouse. She didn't have her dog trimmed like a show dog, though.
1
@TravellingwithRussell I'm not crazy about crispy crusts, but I like the ones that are soft and salty like bread sticks. Pizza Hut has a style that's bready and filled with mozzarella cheese; my favorite!
1
You thought that was empty? I've never seen a McDonald's that busy, and I've been all over the United States.
1
If you side with Ukraine, you're in the wrong. Ukraine is a dictatorship, not a democracy. The Ukraine government has been shelling the eastern part of their own country for the past 8 years, or aren't you bothered by the wholesale killing of innocent women and children if "our" side is doing it?
1
@danielaramburo7648 Why don't you check out other Russian videos where they do that? There are lots of them.
1
Is that you, Zelensky?
1
@davidhartwell4826 You have the good guys and bad guys backward. All Putin asked was for Ukraine to remain neutral like they promised and to stop shelling Donbas. He asked for 8 years. What happened? 1
I find it disgusting that the genocidal, despotic dictatorship of Ukraine is still pretending to the low-IQ crowd that they're a democracy under siege.
1
No valid reason? Here's the thing: all Putin asked was for Ukraine to remain neutral like they promised and to stop shelling Donbas. He asked for 8 years. What happened? Ukraine allowed NATO and the Pentagon to build 46 bioweapons labs in Ukraine. 46. That's according to the Pentagon, who lied about it for years until recently. 1
Ukraine is the bad guy here. Genocidal killers. The US and NATO are worse, because we prodded Ukraine into this, and we're keeping it going. Unless you're a naz1, and in that case, it's no use talking to you.
1
Ukraine is a terrorist state. The United States is a terrorist state. If the US had been in Russia's position, we would have crushed Ukraine years ago, just like we've done to many other countries. It would be a big smoking crater.
1
It astonishes me how the western world is backing a genocidal despotic dictatorship like Ukraine just because Biden doesn't want to lose his honeypot and the Pentagon doesn't want to lose its 46 bioweapons labs.
1
@toma9976 Why do you worry that Joe Biden might have his gravy train from the Ukraine stopped? You sure aren't worried about people, because if you were, you would have been concerned about the Ukraine government shelling Donbass for the last eight years. No tears for those women and children, huh? And do you know why they're being shelled? Because they voted to go with Russia. The locals say that they would have starved if not for the Russians giving them food. Many of them have spent years hiding in their basements because their homes were destroyed or too dangerous above ground.
1
I worry a lot more about American retailers who have started giving 40% off their merchandise as soon as it comes in. For the last couple of years, I've been able to buy first quality fall-winter merchandise in January for 90% off. I've never seen such deep discounts before at these stores.
1
What are you smoking? Russia is almost entirely self-sufficient and what they can't produce at the moment, they can buy from China. You know, where almost all of OUR manufactured goods come from.
1
So what? Due to sanctions against Russia, Germans are being told not to bathe now or turn on their heat this fall. Are you having fun, yet?
1
@littleowlbooks8514 It's none of your business. Who died and made you the gym cop?
1
@akbeal So, are you going to stop shopping at stores doing business in that corrupt snake-pit, Ukraine, too? Or is genocide tolerable to you when "our" side does it? Are you a hypocrite, or are you an ethical human being?
1
@TravellingwithRussell GMO means genetically modified organism. A lot of crops in the US are genetically modified with insect or fish or animal DNA, mostly to make the plant create its own pesticide. Such crops are illegal in many countries. The rise of deadly food allergies corelates to the use of gmo crops in our food supply.
1
@Deer Garden Putin isn't the Hitler figure in this situation. All Putin asked was for Ukraine to remain neutral like they promised and to stop shelling Donbas. He asked for 8 years. What happened? Ukraine allowed NATO and the Pentagon to build 46 bioweapons labs in Ukraine. 46. That's according to the Pentagon, who lied about it for years until recently. Instead of honoring the vote, the government of Ukraine chose to kill them. They've been shelling Donbas for the last eight freaking years. Putin decided, rightly so, that enough was enough. Ukraine, the US, and NATO are the bad guys here. We are the genocidal warmongers. Everyone in the world knows what's going on except the western addle-pated sheep.
1
@finnmay A lot of the people who left came back after the Kremlin changed the law and allowed tech workers to be exempt from conscription. Even Konstantin came back to Moscow; he did a video with Russell.
1
@Славян-е8б To a point. I know a university professor who nearly went bankrupt because she and her family spent so much money on restaurant food. They ate McDonald's almost every day and twice daily on weekends. $40 for 3 people for one meal. Their food expenditure was almost $2000/month, half her take-home pay. Most people here spend about 25% of their take-home pay on food, not 50%. They got into debt very badly.
1
@dswiss1370 So that's why the Germans and the French were out in the streets protesting high gas prices? Because they're so rich? Ok.
1
H&M is "fast fashion," cheap clothes that are only meant to last a season and then be thrown out. I personally don't understand the widespread appeal, but it's a very popular chain, I believe.
1
That's a Marxist excuse. It isn't a poverty thing, it's a morality thing.
1
Ukraine is hardly an innocent victim. Search YouTube for shelling Donetsk, for example. Eight years of shelling their own people. Also, Dr. Robert Pope, director of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at the Department of Defense, stated a few days ago that not only do we fund biolabs in Ukraine, but conduct bioweapons research there. Putin was 100% right. Be grateful that he's going after Ukraine and not us, since we're just as much to blame for those bioweapons labs.
1
@АНДРЕЙ3500 In the US also, you cannot just cut down a tree anywhere you want. Land is either privately owned or government owned, and it's a federal offense to cut down a tree on government land, and a local offense to trespass on someone else's property and commit vandalism.
1
So do you boycott companies that trade in genocidal Ukraine, too? The government of Ukraine has been shelling the eastern part of their own country for the past eight years, killing and injuring at least 40,000 people according to the UN and most of them are innocent women and children. So tell us; are you a hypocrite?
1
Due to Putin's domestic policies. On purpose. He set out to make the Russian economy nearly impervious to foreign interference.
