You deal with it the same way you would deal with it in a big city.
1
@enaid54 Whether you are in a small town or a big city, you would have to show cause as to why it is harassment. A police officer can initiate a traffic on you as many time as he feels it is justified.
1
@enaid54 Sometimes it is harassment. But many people believe the law does not apply to them so they believe any traffic stop is harassment.
1
Don't break the law and you won't have to deal with the police. Simple enough!
1
Oh no, another sovereign citizen.
1
Informing a police officer you have a firearm in you vehicle varies from state to state regardless of whether you have a concealed carry license or not.
1
Oh no, another sovereign citizen.
1
Or you could just not break the law and stay out of court!
1
Each individual state issues drivers license. The federal government has nothing to do with it.
1
On no.....yet another sovereign citizen!
1
You should always say "I do not consent to a search of my property" and keep your trap shut!
1
If the weapon is already out of sight, it would not be a good idea to place it on the dashboard. It varies from state to state but in some states you do not have to inform the officer you have a firearm in your vehicle. If he knows you have a firearm, he may want to secure it until the conclusion of the traffic stop.
1
You might want to work on your sentence structure!
1
It sounds like you have been brainwashed by the sovereign citizen movement. Go ahead and refuse to get out of your vehicle. But don't start whining when the officer smashes your window and removes you from your vehicle to place you into custody.
1
Pigs are not.....police are.
1
Remember the 5 words.....Am I Free To Go!
1
Because these mentally arthritic people think they can do whatever they want when they are behind the wheel.
1
Incorrect. You must provide the investigating officer a drivers license, proof of financial responsibility and vehicle registration. Failure to do so can send you walking because your vehicle will be towed and impounded.
1
What about it? Show him your medical card and do not consent to a search.
1
@michaeladronsmith6043 If you are in the vehicle and the key is in the ignition, you are in control of that vehicle. It doesn't matter if the vehicle is in motion of stationary. If the officer detects the odor of marijuana, that gives him probable cause to conduct a search. But if you can produce a medical marijuana card for the possession, there shouldn't be a problem. But do not voluntary consent to a search.
1
As you know, if you have a valid carry license in PA the officer already knows it when he runs you plate before the traffic stop. There is no reason to hand him your carry license. He cannot search your person or vehicle without your consent. He can pat you down to determine if you have a weapon. If he can see any weapons in the vehicle, he may want to secure them until the traffic stop has concluded.
1
The 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution has absolutely nothing to do with what you bring up. It deals with unreasonable searches and seizures and search warrants. The "compliance roadblocks" as you call them has nothing to do with searches, seizures or warrants.
1
What about them?
1
You might want to work on you sentence structure so people can understand what you are trying to say.
1
Oh no.....another sovereign citizen!
1
Try that and see what happens!
1
You do not have to submit to a breathalyzer test and they cannot make you take the test. An attorney would have nothing to do with it until after you are arrested.
1
Remember that as the officer breaks your window and drags you out of your vehicle!
1
A police officer does not have disclose the reason for the traffic stop unless it is departmental policy.
1
Oh no.....another sovereign citizen!
1
But both vehicles have seat belts.
1
If you do not pay the fine associated with the citation, an arrest warrant will be issued.
1
Police officers are not perfect. The problem is they have to recruit from the human race.
1
Don't break the law and you won't have to deal with the police!
1
@thomaskirkpatrick4031 I have seen many traffic stops involving law enforcement. If you believe all the edited videos on YouTube, you are a bigger fool than I thought!
1
The officer/deputy could have issued you a citation. You cannot have anything obstructing you view.
1
@intuitiveinspiredart4366 Each state is different. But check you state law regarding vision obstructions.
1
Well said. But never exit your vehicle unless the officer instructs you to do so.
1
sew them?
1
@timbarker757 The first and fourth amendment of the U.S. Constitution has nothing to do with being taken into custody. You can be taken into custody for any number of reasons during a traffic stop. You obviously have been brainwashed by the sovereign citizen movement. Good luck in prison.
1
A citation can be written as civil or criminal depending on your violation(s).
1
Keep in mind, just because you don't consent to "anything" doesn't mean it isn't going to happen. There are instances when the police can do things without your consent.
1
Which will only make you sound like an idiot.
1
Sounds like you won't learn!
1
The side of the road is not the place to discuss your violation and the officer will not indulge you.
1
Your statement is gibberish. Try restructuring you sentences and come back tomorrow.
1
How about just obeying the laws and you won't have to deal with the police!
1
Whomever is in control of the vehicle can consent to a search.
1
Absolutely you can lie. But if you are caught in a lie don't start whining when you are hauled off to jail!
1
So.....don't refuse. Or better yet, obey the traffic laws!
