Good One - I recently moved to Germany a got myself a car. The law in Germany states that from 12th of November your car needs to be fitted with winter tires - else you will get fined. It makes good sense IMO.

Hmm wierd i thought that it got it´s new V8 from BMW - I Must have got that totally wrong.

Okay Review - and much better than the last one he did. I´ll suggest adding at little bit of fun into the review and getting a bit more on road footage with more aggressive driving for this kind of car. I like this car a lot - I looks very good IMO, but for fun i would properly miss that manual. So if you had to choose between a VW Polo GTI and this what would you choose ?.

Okay review, but the what camera was used? footage was pretty bad quality even if it was made with a GoPro or a D7 is should come out a lot better than it did in this vid. Some settings must have been wrong, white balance, contrast and saturation was way off!.

Would have loved to se some more direct comparisons where every generation crossed the same obstacles - never the less the review was fine. Thanks ;)

Sadly they choose not to go all the way when they presented a super cool looking concept of it a few years back - It ended up with this and it simply does neither have the charm of the older versions neither have the wow from the concept.

They are handy to have in case a car looks very ugly - and if the car looks very good, but you do not like cars much, they still come in handy - if your a Man or a Lespian.

I think it looks very good for this segment - Really like the lower belly line, thats quite some dynamic lines there. The hidden rear door handles, as already mentioned by other commenters, is no news at all, but it´s still a nice element. Was missing some more info about practicality, cause driving will be more interesting when the sport´s versions reach the market.

Well I did too, but Mr. Harris is a car review Icon with so much experience, and this guy is pretty new on the scene. Really bashed his first review but, I think he already improved a lot - and it is always nice to hear more opinions on a car like this.

Even coal burning from a modern plant these days releases less emission in comparison than fuel, but thats a discussion that needs no more repetition on the tube. The Oil companies social net agents will be all over the place!. The fact is that you now a days at least in many places can choose your energy provider and opt for Green Energy sources and that is without doubt cleaner energy. Btw the i3 comes as a hybrid and the i8 is a hybrid.

Hey you have to work on that Voice Over and the vocal in general - It´s mumbly for non English viewers, make more takes and be more critical when choosing the edits. NB. You speak a bit better from behind the wheel. I also must agree to other comments here - the music was annoyingly bland, cheesy and boring. Sorry but there is room for improvements. Liked the cam view from behind the cabin. Advice forget yourself and put 100% dedication to the car - that way you can shake of most nervousness.

"Job done then".......... - ehhhhh ahhhhh naaaaa not quit - It´s quite an understatement, perhaps choosing a somehow more passionate angel to describe a car of this type of car - its not like the target buyer is worried about if he or she can drive to the supermarket - and even if they would worry, they could just take the Range Rover, Mercedes or whatever secondary car they have in the garrage to do this. - For christ sake its a super car let it show........."job Not done"

Only thing i don´t like about this car is the Touchscreen system - in that regard i think Porsche have chosen the right direction keeping real buttons. If you have the money and will equip one of these for terrain travel, switches are a better option. Else it looks great and will be a real up market contender.

Someone mentioned that the paddles are actually the same as on a Nissan GT-R. And the paddle position discussion I think will continue for long time - a lot prefer the static position like you described, but there are also other that like the other one. But regardless he did not need to bring up that subject as a negative, a 458 also have static position paddles - and that must count for something.

Yes the early and mid concepts and especially the coupe of the i3 looked a lot better (dynamic) than the final production. On the other hand the Tesla S is quite a beautiful car IMO and the i8 is looking very good too, even the little ZOE EV has some charm. The AUDI TT was very close to its concept and so was the latest Camaro and there have been other concept cars the came very close in production, but usually/unfortunately it is very hard to do and a bit of luck has to go along with it.
