Well for one the price of crude is rock bottom, likewise in the majority of developed nations coal has been replaced by oil, as new energy sources become more cost-effective, they replace old ones, and the cost and productivity of renewable sources is increasing rapidly (60-80% cost reduction) whilst efficiency gains in oil are marginal.

I think we need to take into account the productivity gains a diverse workforce brings, and that a female perspective can often provide a competitive advantage but at the same time, it remains true that women take maternity leave and become less effective employees whilst menstruating. There are upsides and downsides to hiring more women, and they must be considered not as activists, but as businesspeople.

  43.  @rojavabashur6455  there's more to the fourth industrial revolution than just batteries. The UK has some of the best AI, ML, quantum computing, IoT, and blockchain companies in the world. So yes, it will be at the forefront.

  44.  @rojavabashur6455  where the company is founded is important, but where it is staffed is almost more important, and the UK has deep mind, fetch, river lane, benevolent AI, dark trace, and many multinationals have a strong presence in the UK, with the UK being the fastest to implement quantum computing in business in the world. Spotify is a music streaming company, nothing more.

The cuban government is of course engaged with the economy and would benefit from import/exports, but I'm talking specifically direct engagement at a formal, diplomatic level.
