  1. I think my mother succeeded in this regard. She didn't really give me many skills, and that made it hard as a young adult, but she did encourage me to explore and learn about the world, so I find as I am growing up, I'm more adaptable and curious than other people my age, and as a result, more successful.

  3. Yeah but all 'the people' are doing is using the same old tool, politics, which is becoming increasingly less relevant, along with 'the people' in general.
