  1.  @Milesco  Eh in the context of real life useage it is easier to use grams. No need to use extra measuring spoons, no 'scoop and level' garbage, and for things that can be compressed (flour, brown sugar) there is no ambiguity. You simply pour directly from the container until the number on the scale matches the one in the recipe I think it is just because the US still dominates the internet content, and because fewer americans know how to cook, so it makes sense for more recipes to be there (if you have a full set of family recipes, what need is there for the same one on the internet?)
