  16. OUCH!!!!! What has become of my beloved Seattle? When I lived there, I was a member of a wonderful church where the pastor saved my life twice. It's the ideal place to live a healthy and wholesome Christian lifestyle. If only I could have brought my niece to live with me there. It could have saved her from dropping out of high school to join a cult. 💔😭💔😭💔😭💔😭💔

  22. I read that the killers are being held without bond, and that Lori Lightfoot held a bond hearing for them. I also read that as convicted felons, they weren't allowed to own guns, so they got someone else to legally buy the guns and sell to them. The person who bought the guns got off on $4,500 bail. Then Lori Lightfoot had the NERVE to visit the cop in the hospital???

  32. I heard of storefronts and a park in Florida that played annoying children's songs, like "Baby Shark", all night long. I believe it worked, but it was deemed cruel and unusual punishment.

  35. When my brother was in med school, he and a fellow student were on the night shift at a hospital. The buzzer went off, and they dashed into the room, past a man reading a newspaper in bed, and started performing CPR on the other man who was flat on his back, out cold. The man woke up instantly, totally enraged. He had been merely sleeping. So who died? The man reading the paper.

  41. 💔😩😫😭💔 I have a friend in Portland who I get to visit occasionally, whenever I can attend High Cascade Snowboard Camp. He used to always take me on a bike tour through Portland. The last time I visited him, in 2021, he did not do this. He told me one of his bicycles had been stolen, but since that could be easily replaced, I'm sure the real reason is the homeless camps along the bike paths. I had originally planned to retire in Portland, but with all that's going on there, that's clearly out of the question. This breaks my heart; Portland and Seattle have long been my favorite cities.

  47. I'm not the LEAST bit surprised. They were doing that on San Pablo Ave and McArthur Blvd in Oakland back in the 70s. Some of my elementary schools classmates wound up in that scene.

  50. Forty years ago, I used to work at a store called Fotomat on College Avenue in Oakland (they're no longer in business). The stores were constantly being robbed. Police response time was 10 minutes, but that didn't deter crime. One woman was robbed 3 times in a row. Each time, the robber arrived on a Friday, 10 minutes before closing. The first 2 times, she called the police, and they came out, filed a report, and left. The 3rd time, she pulled out a baseball bat and whacked the robber on the arm, breaking it. He fled and never came back.
