  11. Why do we need to codify generosity into law? Governmental price fixing is a terrible idea when the market could correct itself. So companies are price gouging people, they will either price themselves out of the market or someone will offer the same goods and services at a lower rate. In the event that there's a cornered market, use the Sherman antitrust laws to break that down so others can compete.

  34. Sorry Kim, we disagree. There's another body involved. The baby's body. We should be judged by how we treat our most vulnerable members of society. That includes unborn humans and those incarcerated. Murdering both these types of vulnerable people really doesn't score high on honorability.

  49. ​ @SDBanks80  there's very little democracy in the US government. We are a representative republic, and usually our representatives are chosen through an electoral system. Prior to the 17th amendment, the state legislature chose the senator, each state legislature could have gladiator matches to choose their representative. Post 17th amendment it's now chosen by the people of the state "thereof". Basically we select people to represent us and THEY decide through something that really isn't that democratic.
