  22. What do you need for being a part of this? I have saved money for land, been looking a long time. I’m good with herbal knowledge, have a useful library, learned a lot of vet skills, can train horses, can work hard, can milk goats and make cheese and soap. Etc.

  25. I was shocked at the changes in Portland. I helped a friend pack up and move stuff from the condo she sold. A studio for 500k. Crazy people on the street. Tents. Garbage. Meanwhile the towers around us looked mostly empty. Powells Books used to be my heaven—- I couldn’t find any books I wanted. Usually it’s a problem trying to narrow down my choices.
