Stubborn souls. No surprise about the divorce.

Let’s have satellite parties.
3
Let’s have a party in seattle area. Des Moines Marina ? BYOB.
3
There are classes online. Or talk to a librarian-/ they know how to find the best info.
3
Beware. These companies lowball you. Consult with a reputable real estate agent or do some comps on your own. Look on Zillow to compare.
3
College is a waste. Do some research on that. Trade school is the only thing worth the money. Your kid will make enough to go to college without debt. I saw nice houses in small towns upstate for a fraction of that. One was 60k, had 5 bedrooms. Pennsylvania is lower on taxes. Just my thoughts.
3
I had the same thought. As soon as I saw the fountain, I imagined it stopped, dried out. Dirty.
3
We can hook up all our monasteries. 💪 we are putting together a group farm.
3
It’s an army. The equivalent of 5 divisions. Didn’t Obama talk about that?
3
Wine, alcohol, tools, food for longterm.
3
Do you drive around or stay in one place for business?
3
Well done.
3
The good news is more people are looking at the Davos meeting, the WHO and the WEF. More people are storing food. More are learning how to garden and preserve. More are learning about how to create a parallel economy.
3
Some people write off the yachts as business expenses— entertaining clients.
3
Yes. Some of my friends have moved to Mexico and Panama.
3
But are they still requiring the shots?
3
A friend’s 42 year old brother died while they were all on vacation. He didn’t make the connection with the jibbyjabs. That’s the second one I know this month.
3
The beginning of wisdom is calling things by their true names.
3
In Key West they pay maids $20 an hour.
3
They get their stock for free. I give stuff away rather than to thrift stores now. The local food bank has a room for stuff like clothes and shoes. People can “shop” once a week.
3
My friends and their relatives are always inviting me to join them at various restaurants or bars— I just say I’m working late. I can’t afford to waste one nickel. They don’t seem concerned at all.
3
Are you able to store any food or grow a garden?
3
Thousands of boxes of them at goodwill.
3
Buy land. College is silly at this point. I know lots of college grads working at Starbucks now.
3
I camp outside the place I work at. I’m sure others are doing the same.
3
You still trust doctors?? I know lots of people in the 90s, still active, no dementia. They still help out on the family farms. They are healthy because they avoid doctors and prescriptions. A friend’s mother is 104, soon to be 105- still works in the veggie gardens.

A three decade tour

I was a kid but I remember. I think you are right that it will be worse. I had a friend who grew up on the Depression. Told me many stories— he was next to youngest of the kids. His father farmed them out as labor even as young as 5. They lived out of a vehicle, camping. A family photo shows them in front of their vehicle, dressed in their best. Only the father had shoes. The girls wore flour sack dresses. And everyone was skinny.

😂
3
Can you take a loan out on equities to buy land?
3
It’s how I live now. Thank you to libraries for providing books and Wi-Fi.
3
Forage. Lots of nutritious “weeds”. I pick fruit all over my neighborhood because otherwise it goes to waste.
3
I grew up in Farmingdale,we used to take the LIRR into the city as teens. I avoid it now. I head for Montauk instead.
3
Well, you tried. I’m sure there are others inSeattle who would appreciate that gift. I’ve experienced the earthquakes here in Seattle and I’m surprised to find people have no preparation for them. Not even candles and matches. We have windstorms that take out the electricity for hours and even days.
3
@LGnLA I like to mess up on the self-checkout and the clerk has to deal with it at least 4 times. I double check to make sure the discounts are correct. Then I pack my bags very slowly and carefully.
3
Figure out a way to share it. Rent the garage or something.
3
You can make your own pet food. I look for 50% off meat or poultry. Cook with rice, beans, vegetables. No onions or raisins, of course. Make big batches, then freeze in baggies. There are many recipes online.
3
And two hours😂??? You’d be in Jersey or on Long Island.
3
5.59 near Seattle. Probably higher in downtown.
3
Same in Seattle area. We use cedar oil for the fleas. You can make a spray with vinegar and water-/ it’s non-toxic. And garlic pills also help. You might want to research the ingredients in those drops.
3
Sounds like the basis for a YouTube channel. Vans and mini-vans are tolerable. I made a mistake buying an obvious camper van. (But it was cheap). Better to be stealth.
3
I have an Eddie Bauer coat that is still functional and in style- 40 years old.
3
I heard people are going hungry and will go without enough heat this winter.
3
That’s brilliant.
3
I hope you got your boosters on time.
3
I went with a friend to Restaurant Depot. He was upset by the rising prices-/ he says he will shut the doors on his restaurant after 20 years. Can’t afford to hang on. Next time he goes I’ll be buying a winter of food for our household and giving him the cash.
3
@MaureenDriggs that is a scammer, Maureen. Never contact them. Dans contact info us in the description above. What did you use to create your book?
3
The summer before the dark. Reminds me of the book The Guns of August.
3
Younger people are carrying old style flip phones. When I ask why, they said it’s easier than getting a degoogled phone. Facebook is out of style. IG is a time suck. Ask people if they still use as much social media.
3
I work - a lot — and already got the van life going. Lots of people are doing this. We’re better off than people in the Great Depression- at least for now. I’m reading some histories and diaries.
