And yet here you are, affronted by the idea of someone prioritising the deeds at home as opposed to elsewhere to which we have no obligation nor duty. Last I recall - the British Empire did something like that and we're condemned for it long after.

@c6q3a24 Rome went and sort to utterly annihilate the Jewish people from existence following 71 AD and the Philistines actually DID go the same way, a thousand years prior to that via the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians and Greeks... those were genocides long before there was a term for it... @thebelmont1995 You referring to the political parties? If so then like the rest of them; they're divisive for a purpose. It's easier to rule people divided than when unified and the irony is that all parties beneath the display are unified in their payroll coming from the same establishment. Unfortunately it's also very effective and not about to change as people simply do not agree on one matter or another and those separate people more than even the most optimistic unionist can overcome.

@col.barnsby8595 I condemn anyone too weak to think for themselves; as a young child I had no say over my life and I learned quick that if I didn't toughen up and realise the world hands you nothing, I'd be in the exact same position. These people are ideologically contaminated - even if you show them undeniable proof of the sham it all is, they will refuse to believe you. Yuri Bezmenov put it best about Demoralisation, Destabilisatio, Crisis and Normalisation. As such they're equally able to make a choice and since they will not choose right - far be it for me to accept them as they choose wrong.

@Heizzer47 Believe me I know more then you give me credit for. Jan 6th was a reuse of the Reichstag in Germany back in the 30s with a scapegoat to justify the following action, only this incident has been blatant. And let's see what occurs in the echelons of power, while everyone focuses on this; shall we. "Never let a good tragedy go to waste" after all and the fact they've just tried for him, means he's definitely rubbing someone the wrong way.

Guys like him are control freaks. Little wonder he's high up in amongst the establishment's hierarchy. Not quite calling the shots, but he's the first rung on the ladder down - as opposed to us "plebs" who barely even see the first on the ladder up.

Let it be known i was brought up in front of a TV but difference was, back in the 90s while everything was psychedelic the kids shows also didnt condescend and treat us lile toddlers. Power Rangers, Sonic The Hedgehog, Hey Arnold and the like - they all had substance. That and despite being in front of the TV along with movies and playing computer games; my parents always made time for me to sit down and talk. Neglect and abysmal "message" riddled shows trying not to offend anyone = BAD combination.

Whilst i agree with your first point - your view that the country can "come together" is nothing but a fantasy. Incidents such as this are a testament to that and history has more examples of this then all the books in the world have pages.
